I get to the user agreement...not the beta one but the one that was just recently added and then I seem to lock up. Any1 else having this issue? I have been running game great until yesterday I had same issue, tried tonight and get to same spot and lock up.
BTW, why the heck do they have 3 different user agreements you have to scroll through and read? Then you have 3 or 4 logo / loading pages to go through as you log in....sorta sux. That is my only complaint about the game.

I just bought the game today and am experiencing the exact same problem. I can watch the intro cinematic and then when it loads the first EULA page, it freezes and starts making crazy sounds and the only thing to do is shut the PC down. This game has been nothing but aggravation so far and is starting to feel like the worst $50 I have ever spent. Anyone with some information that may help would appreciated!
I have the same exact problem in the same spot you guys are having it, only it does it when there's a patch to download. I have to completely shut down the computer, it will do it a second time and then finally the third time it works. I'm not sure what the problem is here... but it's rather annoying.
1. No I've not had this issue so I can't help you
2. There's only 1 user agreement you must sign everytime you log in. If your getting 3 then you've done something wrong..there was NEVER 3. The first time you log on you get the EULA and the Player Conduct after that you only get the EULA. THey do this because it makes it easier for them to take gold spammers to court and win (they did this previously the EULA made it far easier for them to prosecute).
3. When you go to the movies you go through multiple logos everytime...EVERY production company MUST be given credit in some form. Every game this some have less than others if they were produce completely internally like a Blizzard or a Sony game. Warhammer belongs to Games Workshop so their logo MUST be present, Mythic made the game so they MUST be present, EA funded / owns Mythic now so their logo MUST be present. Its ... pretty much part of the industry rules / regulations. There is no game on the face of this planet that doesn't make you see these logos...honestly find something ELSE to bitch about.
If the game is a fresh install check to make sure that the patcher isn't running a second client in the background. For some reason when I installed from the CDs the installer continued to run in the background and it wouldnt let the game launch. If you know how to use the task manager you can end the process there, if not, simply reboot your computer.

The OP posted this before release when there were multiple agreements to accept.

I should have posted a week ago. I resolved my issue by editing the user file to force the game to run in a windowed mode. Then I could adjust the settings in game to have that window run full screen size, but it is still technically windowed mode. I have not had a single issue since then.
As to point number 3 above, I somewhat disagree. Many games out there force you to sit through the publisher, developer, etc logo screens the FIRST time you run the game. After that most I have played will allow you to hit ESC to skip past them. They still come up, but you can quickly get by them. It's a minor annoyance in my book, just presenting an observation from my experience.
damn it *annoyed* i wish people would stop reviving damn old threads its really annoying to find out you replied to an OP only to find out later the post is weeks old and someone else dragged it up for a completely different reason.
