How many people want to try to switch sides?

dsorrentdsorrent Member CommonPosts: 1,627

I read that you will be able to "switch sides" in the game so you could possibly become a Ratonga in the city of Qeynos.  I read that it will be a difficult path to take, but is possible and you can meet Lucin or Antonia this way.

This definitely is something I'm interested in!  Was wondering if this is something which other people have concidered as well.

It is not an easy path. Be sure of that.

Only a certain number of people can do it a month.

You will spend about a month doing it with no allegiance to either city, no where to sell/buy goods, and you will have a curse over your head the whole time making you nearly ineffective in combat. Every step will require a full group at least and half the steps require a full raid party of 24 people to complete. It is not an easy path to follow at all.

I do always say taste the rainbow but i always sift through my bag o' skittles to get to the white ones.

I will start out and remain loyal to the City of Freeport for as long as my heart beats. Though switching sides sounds interesting, it is not in my character to do such a thing... though I plan on being rather deceitful-- a belief such as this and a pledge of loyalty to a matter of great important would never be broken.

Perhaps it is just the way I am (not that I am actually evil, per se) but I would just feel more at home starting off with a dark elf class of some sort, preferably of the healing genre. I mean, I could change, with time, or.. and I am sure I will try another, but chances are I would definitely stick with my evil baby.

Like others, I'd be interested in reading where you got this detailed information.  I mean, I did read it was going to be very difficult, but that was about all I read.  I didn't read any of the details you have mentioned.  Could you post a link to this info?

    Thanks!
