Oh I didnt read VN yesterday. Now I see how they planned the rolling of the servers. I see they do have valid reasons for doing this.

We are already rolling 2 new Core servers out to LIVE and the cap is for a particular side, not for the entire server.
Edit: Two servers are capped right now for both Destro/Order, none of the other 13 are.

Right now Order has a queue of more than 100 on only 2 servers, 150 on one and less than 100 on one server. It is not queued everywhere and neither is Destro. Caps will be raised shortly and more servers will be rolled out on plan. We currently have 18K people logged and climbing fast.

Okay, so, yesterday I laid out our plans in great detail. I was very clear that the server cap would be low at first and then raised slowly. We've rolled out new servers and are about to roll out some more. We will raise the cap on the high pop servers during the day but on our schedule. If we raise them too fast then the starting areas will be way too crowded and people will have to queue up to do quests. We are monitoring the starting areas and once they start to clear out, we'll raise the cap.
We have 21K people in the game right now and the vast majority of our servers are not queued.

The other RP server is not queued. Opening a third at launch would have done no good since we still have a non-queued one.

Us. We have plenty of servers up there with low population. It's not a question of servers right now, it's a question of cap. If we had 5 more servers up there, people may still have gone for certain servers and we would still have some queues.
If people choose to go to a server that's already at cap, that's a choice they are making. But as long as we have some low and/or empty servers and people still go to the full ones, there will be a problem. Once again, we'll raise the caps slowly once people move out of the starting areas.

One more core server was just launched, another RP is being readied to go within 30 mins and we are going to slowly raise the cap on some of the servers.

LOL. Nobody is getting near a sacking a city today. By then, if there is anything weird going on in terms of large number of CTDs suddenly, we'll figure out what's going on. As of now, I haven't seen any reports of excessive CTDs.
And I've said it before, we using the pop caps to try to ensure that the vast majority of people have a great play experience not just in the starting areas but all throughout the game. It was the right move even if some people disagree. And since there are 22K people in the game right now and the people queued represent only a very small percentage of that, I'll stick to our plans.

We're checking on it. We got a lot of people in the office today especially on the engineering side so if something odd is happening, I'll know shortly.
In terms of the siege, man, if it is a problem by the time the first siege happens I'll be very surprised.

Pop caps on all 15 launch servers have just been raised. Queues on the heavily queued have gone down significantly.

Okay, here's a more in-depth update:
1) Right now, only 2 servers have queues for both realms of about 300 (Volkmar and Skull Throne)
2) No other server has a queue of either realm of 300+
3) Only 1 server has a queue of 200+ on either realm (Badlands/Dest)
4) Only 2 servers have a queue of 100-200 (Dark Crag & Phoenix Throne)
5) 2 servers have a queue of in one realm each of 50-60.
No other significant queues on any other server.
We will continue to add more servers and raise cap as needed today.

The game has only been LIVE for 2 1/2 hours. Let us get through the cap raising and additional servers first. Please re-read my lengthy explanation of our server deployment plan. None of our servers are even at 1/2 pop cap yet.

Actually, the most important thing is the long-term happiness of your clientele. What we are doing now is trying to ensure that they are in the best situation in 2 weeks, 2 months, etc. from now, not in 2 hours. Things are moving along quite nicely now on the servers. Long queues are gone from all but a few servers and when we raise the cap again, the queues should disappear from all servers but 2. Upping the cap is something we can do and have done very quickly so we will do it again as necessary as long as it does not result in more problems for the majority of players.

I'm looking at two screens, our monitor tool and all the servers in the Server List inside the game and almost no Core servers have a queue for Order. Are you sure you scrolled down the whole list? The sort function inside the server select screen doesn't seem to be working 100%
