Well , mythic pulled thru and surprised everyone when PW2 was announced, and i / we got to play a little extra for the open beta.
At work today all i could wish was i had bought CE.
That being said, i really thought/hoped that they would surprise the SE pre-orders again with a day head start ((which would actually be the ADVERTISED 3 day head start) but that;s another thread
)
Anyway its 8pm central time, and ive lost hope in this happening. CANT wait till tomorrow after work, gonna be a long day waiting.

Yea I hoped that too unfortuantely cough I think I'm cough coming down with cough cough something and might have to stay home coughhh tomorrow.

Yes, it would be awesome if they tossed us an extra day...but, with so many people coming on the 18th...its going to be rough.
I expect a ton of crashes and lag. Also, fighting over quest mobs and 100 players in the PQ sections.....fun!
I guess I was kinda hoping for that, but a part of me realized it wouldn't happen. Mythic wanted to space everything out by 2 days, which makes sense I guess. Looking forward to playing tomorrow!

I would like to state that in no way shape or form that anything I receive from SOE influences my opinion about SWG or their company. Im pretty much a typical average player enjoying the game.

Gamestop has its ship date as the 18th. I pre-ordered today and was told that they would receive the boxes on the 16th and are letting people pick them up in the store on the 17th after midnight. I would check your store for details on when the shipment will be in and when oy can pick it up.
And SE headstart begins tomorrow, probably either at 7am or 12pm(noon) EDT.
Even Bestbuy and Circuit City are advertising availability for Wednesday at 2pm, with the disclaimer that the game will not be accessible until the 18th (except for people with pre-order codes, of course).
For people with pre-order codes, I believe the grace period to acquire and enter your retail keys is the 22nd.
