I downloaded the free trial and so far so good! I am a MMORPG grand daddy. I played UO from 1997 until late 2003.
Character creation is one of the foremost deciders for me. The more you get to choose from, the better the game. So DDO gets a definite A+ there. The graphics are just as any game out these days. The interface was fairly easy to learn. It actually took me this long to even try it for the lack of PvP, but I had read that D&D didn't want to go that direction, which now I really understand coming from an actual dice and paper D&D player.

I played UO from 1997-2003, SWG from 2003 until 2006, City of Heroes from 2005 (still playing), Saga of Ryzom in 2005.
