I started playing yesterday and I have to say that I really like it so far. But some servers already have queues, I can't imagine what it'll look like tomorrow when the game goes live for everyone. I had my doubts about the public quests, but it's really fun and the rewards are great! I see a bright future for this game. Now if only Order could get more players, we would win a least a few RvR matches!

Public grinds I'd call them.
Lol far from grind. The first ones can be completed in 2 or 3 tries. It is not a grind at all. At least it s not a requirment to even do them if you don t want to.
I really liked AoC in the start as well....
see where i am going? I will first be proven wrong in a month or get to say "oh well it was yet another hype maschine and nothing more....".

I agree, I went in expecting nothing and so far have really enjoyed it. I have not followed the development of this title closely at all, so it was a charming experience to stuble upon public quests, which I think is a stroke of genius.
Another great feature is fun PvP BG's from the very get go! I never want to see another Arathi/WSG etc token in my life.

I echo your sentiments.
I cannot decide what class I really enjoy the most, because so many are appealing. I really like Disciple of Khaine because it seems to fit my "Jack of all trades" type of play style and dual weilding is cool.
My big concern is "Uh-oh, you put all this time into leveling up your guys on the RP server? guess what...this server has ultra high population...go do something else." basically being the end result of the public release.
If I cannot play my characters, when I want too, I may find I just wasted my dollars/time on this game.
I really want to have all my alts on one server, so that if a marauder finds gear for a magus I can pass it along to myself, since I primarily play solo. However, I think I may have to balance that concern with the eggs all in one basket approach I am taking now with just two servers for Order and Destro.
"Litter Bug"... That's awesome. I haven't seen that one yet. I love all the ones that have to do with how often you get yourself killed... The Maimed, The Pincushion... I also really like "Ow My Eye" for clicking on yourself a certain number of times. The titles crack me up.
I do tend to be a tad irreverent though...
Anyone else run through Altdorf and hear grunting and moaning in the streets? With a little more inspection, it's just a npc scripted to lkneel down and stand up an infinite amount of times. Now, you'd think that it's just supposed to be some servant cleaning the floor, but why wouldn't they just be kneeled down with a bucket and rag? There are small things here and there that will make you wonder what that actually means... maybe there's a few sick minds in the dev team ranks.. ehhe
well, that is why its cool they have a "Silly" section.
Does anyone know if you can get titles for not dying by a certain level, like you do in LOTRO? "The cautious"?

I love to read stuff like your comment; people with clear heads who haven't been following the developement of this game like it's the socker match of the year like I have myself. Those unbiased first impression really get my hopes up
