No customize characters, you can pick male or female, that is it. Every 4 levels you get to pick out a new outfit, hence you can tell the persons level by what they are wearing without having to cursor over them.
Action and respawn is at an extremely fast pace, hence using the individual skills your character learns is very difficult. Frustrating to have skills but not the time to use them. Of course if you are a contortionist on the keyboard and can remember the exact key to hit for the appropriate character you can succeed in this game. It is more a MMO using FPS combat only with a lot more buttons to push.
They made some bad design decisions. The game is constantly kicking you out of attack mode which is extremely frustrating, you spend most of the fight spamming attack mode. When your party is dead, you just have to sit and wait you can't do anything, can't even change leaders. When you wake up you are again in do nothing mode and even with the selection on party control, spamming attack mode does nothing unless the party leader is concious, bad bug.
Aggro management is almost non existant, at least at the lower levels.
It is a fun game for the most part, but ksing is rampant, gets pretty crowded at times.
Tried the pvp servers, but I don't find this a good pvp game, the areas are so small it is difficult to avoid anyone, you are channeled everywhere you go. Don't mind dying but it is easy for someone to camp your party and all you can do is restart from the character selection screen in those cases.
