Mythic needs the 4 missing classes to round out this game.

We need the missing classes for the racial pairings. 

Not having a Dark Elf tank class is hurting team balance.   But not having a empire tank is severely limiting the appeal of the Order side.  And considering the RVR pairs don't meet until near the end of the game, it makes playing with your friends difficult.

Ie 4 of us want to play, one plays Dark Elf, well unless you want to play a Witch Elf, you have no other melee classes to play.  Unless, the Black Guard came back.

    I don't know.  I am torn sort of.  I don't think destruction needs anymore tanks at all.  Everytime I go into a scenario or fight 60-70% of what i'm fighting are black orcs and chosen.  Order though I think needs the knight of the blazing sun.  Actually I think it's the only class that is needed to round it out a bit, but then again having a ton of Witch Hunters, Bright Wizards, and Warrior Priests is awesome...  It is decently balanced right now, but there are too many tanks on Destruction.

    It is actually quite simple to meet up in tier 1.  Most of my friends and I have been grouping since level 2 or 3 and we all play different races. 

     

    People are making it a much bigger deal then it really is.  Lacking certain class types from each race means that people will have to work together. 

    Currently playing:
    LOTRO & WoW (not much WoW though because Mines of Moria rocks!!!!)

    Looking Foward too:
    Bioware games (Dragon Age & Star Wars The Old Republic)

    The Order just need a kool looking tank like the Destro have because right now noone wants to play a Dwarf or High Elf tank.

    If you have say a chaos, dark elf, and greenskin. If all three of you group up, and all queue as a party, then you can queue for all 3 scenarios and play together the whole time without leaving your starting zone.

    I agree wholeheartedly. Every race should be able to level up in their own racial zones if that's what the players choose to do. Mythic's solution of "importing" to fill the gaps is insulting to customers and just plain stupid. If that's all you were going to do, why not just start everyone in the same zone? This is not putting their best foot forward.

    No one is really hurting though. Empire to Chaos is even. Empire has heals and lots of dps. Chaos has better heals, but not as good dps. Dark Elf to High Elf is identical to Empire vs Chaos, and Greenskin to Dwarf is pretty much a mirror.

    It is kindergarten-simple to meet up if you're playing different races.  If you can not figure this out please stop playing MMO's.  You are incredibly inept and probably incapable of managing the mouse and keyboard while breathing.

     

    Walk to the flight master.  Fly somewhere else.  Walk to your friends.  It takes 5 minutes.



     

    and again, you can always just group with someone while they are in another pairing and have them queue you for that scenario. If you plan on doing nothing but quests you will end up hitting more than one pairing anyway. If you quest straight through you will only be like lvl 9 when you run out of quests in the first tier of your pairing.

    I agree with this.  KOTBS is the big problem.  A lot of that is aesthetic, but it is still a very big thing.  Order is lacking something with really cool badass plate armour like the chosen has.

     

    The DE blackguard that mirrored IB would be good, but Black Orc is filling that hole.

     

    Order suffers from two problems with tanks.  The above mentioned lack and the perception that Swordmasters are sub par.  Whether they are or not is up for debate, certainly they are not terrible.  But there is still the feeling that they the least of the tanks.

     

    And they are the more "elegant" tank.  For people who want big plate style tanks that have human proportions, well there isn't one.

    not having those classes in right now makes sense. once they are released, people will go back and start over allowing new players just coming into the game for the first time to be along side those who have played and not find empty starting zones.

    Aside from that, the expansion potential this game has is just mind boggeling.

    The above poster is correct.  It's possible to level very quickly if you PVE solely, however you'll miss out on the RVR gear (which is FAR easier to get, and 95% of the time better) and you'll have to go to more than one pairing's area to find enough quests to level you.  Grinding in this game is useless.

    I think if they add anymore tanks to the game atleast on my server I'll seriously hate playing...I constantly get ganged up on by Ironbreakers and Sword masters in Scenarios.    Tanks are there you just have to make friends with them its dead stupid simple to create groups with people all over the realm so you can easily meet up in scenarios no matter what your doing...the boo hoo we need more tanks plea seems silly to me.

    I do hope how ever they do add these classes eventually just long after launch when the classes are aeny good.   You do know OP the reason they left them out is they were in a completely useless crappy state and that they do have plans to impliment them like the cities at a later time.   This is a dead horse topic by people who don't read the news.

    If you feel that strongly about it, let Mythic know.  Don't play.

    Me, my complaint is that there aren't enough healers.  I joined two scenarios last night, and no healers.  No Healers = No Wins!!

    NEED MORE HEALS!

    Honestly, I dread anytime a game adds more classes. It almost always leads to a whole bunch of b.s. Hopefully since these classes were originally planned to be in the game this won't be case.

    You do realize you can meet with your friends in as low as level 3 right?

    This is just ignorant. They didn't take the classes out to unbalance the game and to make you mad. They did it because they weren't fun to play and weren't being able to be balanced into the game properly. The game is much more balanced without them right now. You can't just put classes back in with a stroke of the keyboard and everything be balanced and work.

    The empire tank is the only one that is hurting anything and that is because they don't have a 'cool' tank.

    As much as I dislike not being able to play either the empire or dark elf tanks (they looked REALLY cool from a character design perspective to me) I'd rather have some missing classes (at least when there's 20 others to choose from) then major patches of actual gameplay content missing. The game seems to be chock full of it so I'm happy. Again, I'm sad but there are enough classes to keep me satisfied.

    I find the lack of main cities to be more disappointing if you ask me but I seem to be on the latter when it comes to that issue. Most have been bummed on the missing classes.
