I dont't frequent this site too often, other than to check the status of MMO's in devlopment, so unfortunatly i cant rank this game.
This however is the (long since deleted, im sure 
) post i made on the ROE official forums, and should provide me personal view of ROE.
Hmm. I didnt copy it, that bites. oh well i've got a good memory.

..Will no longer receive my support or patronage. I've recently take a look at all of my posts on these forums..
..and found that all my posts that had constructive critisim are gone.
Strange imo, but the last deletion crossed the line of respect and an open forum.
This was the poll i created, to gauge player support of the following options in ROE
a) Nerf player damage, giving mobs more of an advantage
b) nerf player & mob damage for longer duration battles
c) Dont nerf. You will destroy my character, i will hate you
d) I agree with the current system, & proposed upgrades.
e) one or more of the above & make equipment less available.
f) None of the above, make equipment less available
g) Wait some more, see how things pan out
h) none of the above, i will make my opinion in bold text
I'm not a GM, or a staff member of ROE..but i am, and have tried to be apart of the community (which is touted about as if its a part of ROE..which it isint 
. I found most players to be rude, anti-social, and..well..dumb. I made a character recently and attempted to form groups & friends. every time i logged into the game, or about every hour or so i would /who <my level> and /whisper to every player on the list (usually about 5-10 people) i didnt keep track at first, but in the end i got 3 replies out of 54 players, when i asked them.."heya, would you like to form a group with me and hunt <x mob>. its my standard group-creation "macro" i've used in most games to get groups together.)
And as a final to my post, i warned all who got a chance to read it before it was deleted that a couple years ago, another company ran a "donation" service for the creation of an MMO that was "in devlopment"...long story short, the website was up during the early years of the MMO market, and probably due to convincing posts, got many or enough donations over the course of a year or so.
Long story short.. the mmo was never made...wonder what happend to those donations

When RoE was shelved last time the donations were refunded.
Sorry you didn't enjoy RoE. I myself find it to be refreshing. Most people I have met are fine folks. The ingame CS is simply put, amazing.
Albeit RoE needs work but right now it's got a better base than many other games out there. That being a good community and better Customer Service.
Ok sorry i have not followed rubies since it got re launched.
But first its already made so no question of stopping in development
Second since it is now free play the only way to survive is donations or it will go down.
Until you cancel your subscription, you are only helping to continue the cycle of mediocrity.
im sorry i dont see what you are upset at.
i dont really like this games playstyle all that much, but i do like making chars in it. probably dont make sense but it really does to me. if you think the community is bad, they there is something wrong with you. i make a new char and lvl him up to 15 or so every day for the past week and half. not once have i had problem finding group, not with a melee, healer, buffer,caster,archer nothing. some groups arent that bright but still.. and ive only met one person who was an idiot the entire time, althogh since its free to play im sure there are some more lower lvl morons i havent run across. i think it may be you, if you cant find anyone to play with and your posts are getting deleted, take a look at the mirror cuz noone else is having these issues.
anyway, you are mad that they deleted your post that tried to sway people form donating? a game that survives only on donation. hmm wonder why they deleted it.
its not like they are pocketing the money, they seem to me like honest hard working gm's running the show, and even showing u what donations are going toward. they broght this game back from the dead a while back, and eventually did enough work i guess to open it back up to the public(missing a bit fromt he original though)
personally i would prefer a pay to play over a donaters get perks free game, and even if i did enjoy the game more i woulndt pay for a game where some people are very high lvl the first day most people get to play, but thats just me.

Not relvant to the topic at all, but i understand what you mean.
ROE isint a bad game, to be honest. It was the player population that made it (for me) unplayable.
there was too large a concetration of....undesirables...in both the player base & Staff for me to get any enjoyment other than soloing or grouping w/ 1-2 evolved.
The game itself? Not bad at all.
i did read your post, its you whining becasue you acted like an idiot and got banned from the official messageboard and suspended from the game, although you didn't really come out and tell the truth.
i also followed that link. why did you put that there, just incase anyone still thought you werent an idiot, they could read that thread and find out for sure?

so you know you are posting something that they do not want on their forum.
but deliberatly do it anyway, numerous times. this is a case of poor character.
if you come to my house and start intentionaly doing things you know i dont like, im going to kick your arse out, and you would deserve it.
I didn't really like rubies of eventide; ofcourse, I didn't even finish the tutorial because it was laggy.

Regarding Rubies of Eventide I thought it was a pretty cool game, although I played it only for a few days of trial before it shut down. Will have to give it another spin now.

With a response like that, I do not want to give you my opinion other than that you complain about a community while responding in a very anti-social manner. Preactice what you preach and then and only then will you recieve respect.

-you act like a moron and get exiled from an online game
-you come ot a online game forum and try to badmouth the game
-you, for some reason, give a link to a thread that totally puts you in the wrong, making you look like a bigger moron

i really cant see why a gem such as yourself gets banned from one of the nicest communities ive seen online.
maybe its time you realize online games are just not for you, people dont like you becasue you act like a conceited jerk(at least on the 3 forums ive know you) people dont get banned for no reason, they get banned for making the community worse. and i must say, you do a bang up job of it.
Wow. I play this game and it's fun and the people who play it are nice. The only people I've ever seen banned are potty-mouths, griefers and trolls.
