Its to promote discussion about the game and provide a FORUM for those thoughts to be presented for others consideration. Even if most of it doesnt suit you at the moment.  You cant come here and suggest that the forums dont serve a purpose. I think your real anger or disappointment or whatever Im assuming you are feeling, belongs directed at the game developers.

What do you mean by deviated.  Do you mean: deviated, they are posting negative material? Thats the games fault, isnt it? Or are all the people posting the negatvie stuff just insane?

I'm satisfied with forum.  It provides a space to discuss the game which I think is the purpose, goal and aim.  When I cared enough about the game and the company that produced it, I commented.

I think you need to be more honest with yourself.

Read the threads that actually are about gameplay, or are from new players asking questions.  I know myself and others post in those thread and try to be helpful or promote conversations.  The lastest pvp thread for example.

The implication I think you are trying to make is that if you took away all the stock talk, and all the negative posts in general, would there be more posts than there are now?  I don't think so.  If you look at the official forums now that most of the haters have quit, or been banned from forums... the forums appear more positive, but then you have to look at the age of posts.. nobody is posting.  By removing negative threads, you don't promote more conversation, you just make the boards look more positive.

I'm very satisfied with this forum

Any  mmo forum is about debate both good and bad related to a  game

The only time I've had an issue was when ILOVEFUNCOM spammed it and attacked the whole concept of debate by posting babble on every possible place
