Im at college getting a business degree and can play in my spare time

Glad yall found each other. THe WoW way - "If someone disagrees with you, hate spam them and make friends with other people that also do"

Hate spam them?  Who's hate spamming you?  O.O  You keep responding with vehement rage at anyone who disagrees with you.  Actually....you sort of seem to be hate spamming yourSELF.

You have an awful lot of venomous anger, kiddo.  Seriously, you need to grow up a bit.  All of this hateful rhetoric because other peoples' opinions over a game differ from yours?  Is that the most important thing you have in your life?  If so...that's very very sad.

Not that I owe you ANY sort of explanation, BUT, I was a medical secretary when I was younger, I have a college degree in graphic design, and I retired from owning my own design company at the ripe old age of 40.  I've raised 3 children, who are now 18, 19 and soon to be 21.  My children are very successful well-adjusted young adults, who do not spend their time on the internet, as their retired mother does (I happen to enjoy it, and have EARNED the right to do as I please, thank you very much).

My daughter is studying to be a police officer.  My oldest son was a varsity athlete in school, and  is now engaged to be married to a lovely young lady that he met after high school. He works two jobs right now, as he's saving to buy them a home.  My youngest son still lives at home, works full-time and is saving to buy a car.  He has Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome and is scheduled for ablation surgery next month.  We're very excited about this, as it is a curative procedure that should allow him to live the rest of his life with a lot less worries (which goes for his parents too).   They are good-natured, intelligent young people of whom I am very proud to have raised.

So yes....I HAVE really made it far in the world!  Thank you for noticing!

Now do everyone a favor....go do some yoga or something, meditate, whatever it takes to calm down, and log off and enjoy your evening.  You're not doing yourself any favors by letting yourself get all bent out of shape here because of differing opinions about a GAME, for crying out loud.

Well, considering he's getting a business degree...maybe he needs all that anger to practice for the future. Getting his psyche used to the daily grind of the dog-eat-dog world of business. Maybe when he graduates and leaves the nest to find fame and fortune, with his head filled with fervor, and his ego ready to burst, he'll leave us peons to play our games in peace.

Or maybe he's just full of himself and can't see beyond his barely grown fuzzy cheeks and naive ideologies of the real world... who knows?!

can you guys please teach me the ways of the "Minimum Wage Parent".. bc all I want to do is sit around, play video games and work at the local grocery store.. those are my goals

Well, not sure..maybe you can ask your mom, and while you're at it, ask her to speak to your doctor...I think they need to lower your dossage..you're WAY too highstrung boyo

WoW will certainly lose some players to WaR, however, it certainly wont die. Many will probably trickly back, but the MMo's will mostly be run by WOW wont lose its #1 slot and WaR which will take the #2 slot. A big exception would be for EU playerbase, it will not do very well, especially from its half assed cock-up for open(ish) beta and the monthly pricing being almost 17% higher than warcraft, aoc etc.

Games Like Vanguard, AoC, Eq2 and Potbs will most certainly suffer bigtime. EQ2 should survive, but as for the others, their futures do not look too good.

I'm 45 years old.  I'm looooong done with my years in school.

Yup, you'll be one of the school children leaving WoW.  Gosh, my heart is broken.

Your posts show your maturity level, so it certainly isn't going to cause anyone playing WoW any heartache that you're leaving, trust me.  Adults complain about you kiddies in game all the time.  Good riddance. :)

Have fun with your new renown grind!  YEEEEHAW!  Don't let the proverbial "door" hit you in the butt on your way out.

Edit:  By the way...I find it funny looking at the number of posts you've made and the number I've made, you calling me a troll.  LOL  Might want to check our "joined" dates too.  Children...oh brother.

I fully agree that Wow players will have it hard in  January ....

But as a WOtLK player I am gonna have the real open world PvP fun in "Winter" time and long hard PVE raids (how about 5 new Karazahns and a dozen Heroic dungeons just to begin with :)) ).

    ----

Every WAR copy sold is a free publicity for WotLK.

Until they dumb it down even further so a blind gerbil could -play it... seen it all before nothing new... just plain old wow, rinse repeat reuse art... I loved this game, and it should have had so much more considering the money they earn, but wow has become a second thought... you won’t find it funny when it gets left behind with their new mmo.

Wow could have been more... now it’s a has-been that will will change anything and cater to any ridiculous notion in order to keep customers.

    Until... ?

Well until this happens I am very much enjoying it, like millions of people enjoy it and after having played WAR for 12 days now, I m very confident a LOT more will enjoy it in the near future.

Sorry if you "...loved the game"... and you want to express your love/hate relationship with WoW on a forum.

it just shows you are not over it - to be honest -. I know it can be very painful when your loved one is seeing other men. All 10.9 million.

quit, so did my son, do we feel bad about leaving 15 level 70's and about 50k in gold and four years of playing... no, not 1 bit... If you want to be force-fed the same graphics and game play by a company that has the money to make 5 worlds of world craft without sweating but does not even cater for 1 with new material on a regular basis then have fun...

Thankfully for me it’s just a game one that I can leave at my choosing, unlike many other wow players... I am happy in war and if it does not work out I won’t be going back to wow :)

one last thing... I don't hate wow, I have a dislike for the devs who have let it become a generic mindless grind thats just not fun anymore and I play games to have fun.

I would love play to WoW again but until they balance Warlocks I am not touching that game.  As a mage I cannot even touch them in damage be it PvE or PvP, in fact they end up with more health and mana after they fight me because they can just fear and drain spam.  Oh and in WotLK they get a bolt that goes through my Ice Block which is my only defense against the lock, GG blizz.

That is something that WAR has done way better in terms of class balance and until WoW takes a good look at their balance I will be giving my $15 to Mythic.

Never say "opps" in raid chat, say ahhhhhh interesting.
