Credit card/Game card for first month

Im thinking of buying this game. But i really only want to play for the first 30 days. In order to play will i need to insert credit card information or a time card?
I remember some games not letting you use the free days unless you paid for the next month too.

They dont ask you for any credit card information until your free time is up. If you want to use game cards i suggest you go and buy some now..they have 60 day ones available at gamestop right now.
They shouldn't bill you until 10/18.
Well i ended up buying the game and not a time card.(Because i don't want to pay for 6 more months incase i don't like the game). And it turns out you CAN NOT play the game without a credit card or a time card. Even with the free month.

No its not. But after getting a response that said i wouldnt need to give credit card info till after the 30 free days i decided to take my chances. Just another scam they like to get you with. I don't feel like going out to buy a 60 day game card now, just to enjoy the 30 days i already paid for. 50 dollars becomes 80.

You do not need to add any billing information to play for your first 30 days, even after you've entered your retail codes.

Complete utter bullshit. In AoC for example I was able to play the 30 days without providing any CC information nor having to enter any additional timecard.

As it goes ALL subscription MMO's - and i mean ALL OF THEM from WOW to LOTRO (even AOC)
Require you to provide credit card number , or alternatively some other form of payment (like game card or pay pal) IN FRONT.

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
I havent seen a P2P mmo to date that doesnt require your credit card to sign up...If you're worried about it just sign up w/ credit card cancel it in a few mins and you'll be able to play the account until the subscription ends.
