The old days on Shadowfire

Hello everyone, 

Just wanted to reminisce a bit about the good old days of crafting, running businesses, and great player run events. We had a blast on the Shadowfire server with all kinds of stuff, it's sad that those days are gone.

I was just doing some cleanup on one of my old servers and came across our old website for our Mos Vegas city. I forgot just how much fun it all was. We had hundreds of businesses and big Fight Club event that always had huge turnouts. It was amazing how much fun everyone could have when the community got together and made things happen. Hooray for sandboxes!

Anyway, browsing through this old site brought back some nice waves of nostalgia and I just wanted to share.

    I remember Mos Vegas vividly. I even had a shop there, Darmock's Resource Depot (with a branch in Brenn on Naboo, too). Darmock Jhilad was my smuggler/crafter and ran my resources business. An-ahsa Kaan, my main, was my Mswords/TKM, and I was in LNR's guild.

    Really miss Mos Vegas, which had pretty much faded away last time I was there on a vet trial. I did see one of the Pendragons AFK sitting outside of his shop or house. I believe he tried to keep the city alive as long as he could.

    Good times. I certainly miss them.

    Oh wow, the biz directory brings back so many memories. I remember so many of the names: Jobu, Thula, Agli, Gruelokk, Drrty, UNA and all the rest. Wow ... just, wow!

    I miss it so much.  I've never had so much fun playing a character in a game before.  My character started out in Alliance Bay on Naboo (thanks to Darj) and I later founded the city of Rocky Mountain on Tat.

    Now I'm sad

    Valcyn Server also has a Mos Vegas. I wonder how many other servers have one. We had quite a few PvP battles in Valcyns Mos Vegas back in the PreCU Days. I am still banned from using their Cloner/Shuttleport lol

    I know Ahazi's got one. If it's not still going, it was relatively recently.

    My brother played on Shadowfire.  He and his guild were big into Jedi unlocking and PvP.  I don't know what their guild name was though, but I'm sure it had something to do with Jedi.  His name was Vaden Serophire, and unlocked right before that Aurillian Village crap came out.
