Here's the first scripted video i made on Warhammer Online, a little experiment that could serve as an introduction to the warhammer world.

I still fail to see how them spell effeects fit into the warhammer universe.

Replace spells with blood and you have warhammer.

Amazing video.  I can tell you put a lot of work into it.  Great job!!  It makes me want to play a swordmaster.

What are the chances that I see this, and then end up in a Scenario with you right after.  Didn't even know we were on the same server.

Spell effects are not only vital for warhammer online but also for many fantasy mmorpgs.  Apart from looking cool, spell effects also allow the player to know what abilities he/she is using along with other players.  For example, my Witch Hunter, who is a heavy melee dps class, has an ability called "Get thee behind me!" which detaunts all enemies within 30 feet making them to do %50 less damage to me for 15 seconds.  Now in the heat of battle, where I cannot always keep an eye on my action points, I may spam this button in certain situations and wait for the spell effect to see when the ability actually goes off.  Without the spell effect acting as a visual green flag, I would not know If and when the ability was triggered.  That is why spell effects are important.

awesome vid, makes me want to roll an order character now as it almost looks like a different game ! The chaos areas are so dark and twisted i think its slowly warping my brain !

Actually, as much as that looks like a chaos area at first sight, it's an elven area, the Shadowlands
