It's wrong no matter what they try to call an unborn child, the child should have rights too. To me it is no different than the mother who drowned her children, or the one who threw them off a bridge. Murder is murder, and just because some want to lable the child a fetus because they have not fully developed does not make it right to end their life , If Parents are not allowed to kill their children they should not be allowed to kill their children before they are born.

It is not up to people to decide who lives and who dies. People die every day for many different reasons. This is not the middle ages actually dying from childbirth is very rare in non 3rd world nations. With Bedrest and proper medical care there is low risk to both mothers and unborn children these days if they are properly taken care of. Tubals can often be repositioned into the womb, People use this as an excuse to justify them killing a child. Sometimes things happen beyond our control, it is not up to us to decide between the mother or the the child when in this day and age most of the time we can save both. With adoption lists being 3+ years for infants this is not a situation of all these" unwanted babies" , there are people out there who would love to take care of them for them. All of these things from the past as "reasons" for abortions do not necessarily apply in this day and age. Medical technology is more than it was back then, there are many people who would make great parents that will take care of these children. It is not the childs fault their mother was raped and that was how they came to exist, yet we are willing to take their life for it. Punishing the children for the crimes of others is not justice, it is not right any way you look at it. It does not ruin a mothers life to carry a child for 9 months, that is ONLY 9 months, then they can go live their life any way they want to, taking that right away from the child .. they cannot go live their life any way they want to because people think that it is okay to kill them before they even get a chance.
Yes we should allow it.
Here's the thing, lets say the Goverment decided to ban it. Do you really think it's going to stop it? Frak no. It will just go back to being a "backroom" kind of thing. Or people will go off to places like Mexico to get one, your not going to stop it. And infact you will make things somewhat worse, lets say someone go's to one of those lovely backroom kind of places. We are talking places who can careless about the heath of the person getting one done.
I could go off more about this, but well I won't. My view however is it is a freedom that should be allowed.
Just because the child has not fully developed does not make it into something else. No matter how we wish to dehumanize it to make it okay in our minds it is still killing a child. All this talk of "embryo's and fetuses is just a sad attempt at dehumanizing them. Murderers do the same thing to their victims. FYI Partial birth abortion they do have a heart beat, and brain function, they are stabbed in the head and have their brains sucked out to keep them from surviving. "put the lotion on it's skin" .. refered to as "it" to not associated them with a human being. This IS the same thing. With our limited knowledge in science we have not yet to prove so many things in this world, or our universe how can we be so sure of ourselves that they are not "alive"? We are not. 9 months of one persons life does not make it right to take someones else entire life. That should never be left up to us to decide.
Just because murder, rape, armed robbery and many other crimes still occur even though it is outlawed does not mean we should just accept it. This is no different.

I am woman, and when I was younger I too dealt with the issue of Abortion, I actually thought it was an option in case something ever happened, but after educating myself on the subject, watching the films, I saw for my own eyes what it was and there is no way possible I could ever do that to a child. I would have to take my own life before i could ever take the life of a child. It is not up to us to decide, whatever happens with their life is not up to us to decide. Many people die for many reasons, I am sure they did not ask for it to happen. It is another thing entirely for us to condone their death. If those "Fetuses" or "embryos " were not aborted they would be people just like you or I. There are some things that should not be left up to mankind, and this is one of them.

If God removed all disease and bad weather and everything we struggle against, what would be the point of existing at all?
There is no love without the potential for hate; there is no good without the potential for evil.
Now, far be it from me to explain the motivation of the Creator, but if I'm right, it makes perfect sense.
