Getting stuck on loading screen...please help

During the down time I updated my GFX driver ( ATI RADEON 3870 )

Now I can load the game up to the select caracter screen, when I press play and get the load screen with the Tip it does not get into the game

...

Pleeeease help

So I wonder where Mythic's active "community support" people are on these threads.  Non existent.

I love the game but I'm also stuck with this issue,and guess what, Mythic's choice to hide from it's customers means we spend days resolving issues that normal forums might have immediate answers to.

Extremely irritating.

Are you sure you are not having a firewall problem? The WAR .exe changes almost every day, so you have to give new persmissions accordingly.

Alt + Tab out of the loading screen to your desktop, and see if your firewall is asking you to approve a new connection.

at least you can get that far, i cant even make a chr my menu in black!
