Another MMO first?

It has been lately that WAR has been "claiming" all these MMO first ideas.

The latest? Public announcement when they ban a farmer/gold spammer

Now I begin to realize when someone bugged me with gold spamming on WAR for the first time I was like, is this guy stupid? Why would he waste 50 dollars to get his account banned? Then I realize he must have hacked his warhammer account. So beware, I think the gold spammers are HACKING accounts. Cause they wouldn't just waste 50 dollars to advertise their website.

There are a huge number of people in MMOs that buy in game currency.

 

One copy of the game and an hour spamming each server before they get sprung will probably net them far more than the 50 bucks it cost for the game.

Vanguard did this also back when it was still owned by sigil. They would do a world broadcast of the names that were banned. Its nothing new.
