Faction Points Needed tobe considered Imperial

Any Idea.  I am well over 500 faction points although the Imperial Faction is not as high as others. 

Basically I would like to wear my Scout Trooper Armor.  Paid alot of money for that bad boy..

Find an Imperial recruiter (there's one just to the east of the starport in Mos Eisley, amongst many other places) and ask to join up.

You may have to be combatant to put your armor on; I know this is a requirement for the Imperial hat.
