If MMO's were able to do crossover *** like the fighting games have done with Marvel VS DC... or Marvel VS Street Fighter*** which two would you pick and why?

Eve online and World of Warcraft.

You could have the orcs trying to fly the spaceships, or have the spaceships crashland and offer new races... err... oh hell, they already did that.

Intersting question. I've thought before that it would be great if you could take your characters from one MMO into another. So all those years building a character wouldn't be wasted. Impossible of couse, with different game mechaincs.

Anyway, I'd take my highest level WoW character to Eve so I wouldn't be such a noob. Actually, I might take my SL character to Eve, as he's the oldest MMO character I have.

If you're talking about general theme and playstyles, then definitely I would merge Planetside style ground planetary combat, with Eve Online space combat/economy/character development.

As for mixing specific IPs (from a story persective), I personally think that's completely stupid, as it basically robs both IPs of any meaning.

I meant more as like a PvP stand point. If you could grab a group of toons from one MMO and another group from a diff MMO.... pop them into a BG and let them have at it. I know that each game has its own stats and game mechanics...but if you could; which two.

I'd like to see a bunch of 70s from WoW raid CoX.

I also think dropping a 70 lock in Hello Kitty would be funny.

Id put the entire 10 million population of wow in a battleground stadium built on a Asteroid in deep space and they wil all Verses my Maruader Battleship from EvE.

Course my EvE toon would beat all 10 million as they cant reach me hovering 2 km's above them and by 2 minuites ill just have pulverised the arena and the asteroid they are on. With no atmosphere they will all die very quickly [assuming any survived my barrage of plasma bolts from my Blasters].

Another great example of Moore's Law. Give people access to that much space (developers and users alike) and they'll find uses for it that you can never imagine. "640K ought to be enough for anybody" - Bill Gates 1981

Pick 2 cartoony ones, I'm sure it'll be a good catfight.
