European cloning today am a bit confused;)

Im on the server Karak-Hirn which is a core server which is suppose to be cloned to a new named yvresse. However looking at the list coming up now the new server yvresse its labeled as and "open" rvr server..
so i was playing on a core server and if selecting new cloned server i get into and open rvr server sounds wrong. and no way i will move from Hirn to new clone if this is the case..
In fact forget it if Mythic thinks that cloning means changing from a core set rules to something else. Hope they are reading the boards and realize its wrong ..

What exactly is the point of this cloning business ? People moving servers ? I doubt it works, as people dont want guilds to split up etc....
Its to lighten the load and remove the ques I would guess. But them making a different ruleset is not that supprising, it is GOA after all

Don't do it in my opinion.
If anyone takes advantage of it (and hardly anyone did in the US) it'll be the destro's so if you're destro you're going from a queued server with actual roughly equal numbers in game (due to full/High or Full/Full) to most likely a server that's highly destro favored and most likely mostly empty to boot in comparison to the server you're on, meaning you'll be waiting ingame for queues for scenario's instead and struggling to find players for scenario's and PQ's.
Good point actually when i think about it. Never saw it from that perspecitve. Good thinking mate. Need to put ques and balanced factions against no ques and unbalanced factions into your consideration.
That said btw you don't lose anything by cloning if I'm not mistaken so do do that but I wouldn't focus on that server afterwards
