I'm happy to be back!!!

After about a year long hiatus, I have come back to WoW. During that time I have played CoV/CoH and Guild Wars (still playing and loving GW). I couldn't believe how much of this game I missed until I came back. I can't wait until the Wrath expansion, it's gonna be awesome!!!

Playing Guild Wars (all games in franchise but mainly GWEN and Nightfall) and WoW (just returned to this great game).

Eagerly awaiting Aion, Guild Wars 2 and Wrath of the Lich King.

Have also played CoV/CoH

Heh, im back to WoW after 1 year absence too. Played Everquest 1, EVE, LoTRO, GW, AoC, WAR. Some were good, some were bad, but I enjoy WoW again, especially in native russian language.

Making all quests i can find, and man.. I missed so much content during first 3 years.

Yeah, nothing else quite matches up to WoW. It has its own unique feel that other games just cannot duplicate. At least in my humble opinion.

I had a break from WoW about 6 months before TBC. Funnily enough, I played GW too. Because I'd had a break from it, coming into TBC felt like a new game - and it was awesome. I didn't suffer from the 'Omg all my epixx are worthless' syndrome as I was never a hardcore raider in the first place.

I'm currently having a break prior to WotlK as I was starting to get a bit bored. If all goes to plan, I will go in refreshed and eager to play.

Let me ask something, I should probably know, when you took a year off did you cancel your account subscription or just keep paying the monthly fee?

Up until a month ago I've been playing GW since the 1st BWE and loved all of it.. I had some friends talk me into WoW with the 3X experienc refer-a-friend promotion going on now because of the WAR release and I dug into it.. started a shaman 3 weeks ago and i'm already lvl 60.. can't wait to dive in the PVP, but I feel some remorse about leaving GW, and wonder what I'll do if I'm still hooked on WoW when GW2 comes out, if I suspend my account subsciption do they keep all your characters and account info for a period of time until you resubscribe??

I cancelled my account. I stopped paying the fee and so did my wife on her account. Both of us started up again a few days ago and all characters and everything is there just the way we left them. CoV/CoH is the same, if you cancel the account the characters remain until you re-up (although I am sure there has to be some limit to this).
