It's a game that grows on you. The best kind. It's like falling in love with a person you get to know, not some superficial fling with a person you don't know. People that trash this game haven't even scratched the surface in the gameplay, as far as I'm concerned.
Well, some pointers I guess could be stuff like: 1. One of the best launches in MMO history. 2. One of the most polished game at launch in MMO history. 3. The most content-complete launch in MMO history. 4. Being the fastest-selling MMO in history. For me personally, I just think the game is damn fun.
These are all your matter of opinion, and nothing more.
The fastest selling mmo and pc game in history by the wya is TBC, with over 2 million cpoies sold in 1 day.
TBC is an expansion to an existing MMO, not a new MMO. As far as opinions... Well I'd like you to name which MMOs you think were better in those aspects. It certainly can't be any that I've played.
It's not going to be gameplay or technical issues that make or break this game it's going to be how much the population imbalance will effect the end game content.
I agree with OP. The trolls come out at every launch but they have been weak around WAR. WAR will make it, and is a very well made game. End game will be the key to it's longterm success though. The potential is great.

I would agree with them all except number 3 ,because i havent seen end game content, so i will reserve judgement on that one---But it was released pretty smooth with hardly any bugs and the game does feel pretty complete so far........ So if your gonna be a wise guy at least include some info debunking what the guy above you posted instead of making yourself look like a troll.

You really need to get your facts right most mmorpg after the frist few months usually the numbers crash, war so far has 500k after the frist week after the free month is over i'd expect that number to roughy half from anything from 200-300k most mmorpgs will hover around that mark for the rest of it's life, wow has been one of the few games that has had a increase in numbers after the the frist few months.

For someone who just called someone out on facts, you really did seem to miss the mark on your post as well. WoW is not the only game to gain subscribers during it's lifetime, and it will not be the last. The main reason games tend to drop off right after release is due to bad launches, bad follow up content patches, and missing content to name the few. There are games that start out slow and pick up pace with subscribers, it's just too bad you refuse to see it.

I agree with you and the OP; people have been trying to trash this game from the start but are having an increasingly hard time to do so since there is so damn little to trash. Delivering quality will always pay off. So they change their tactics and bash things that could have been better or just the minor nitpickings and blow up the proportions to make them look gamebreaking.
Most of us who have played this game for a length of time after release, know that those people are failing in their claim that WAR is a bad game. It might not be THEIR game (so far as they actually tried it out) but it certainly is a GOOD game to most of us.
Just as most of us know that the amount of issues and problems with WAR at launch are far fewer compared to other games at launch and we have faith in Mythic to do some more polishing in the coming time.
The game pretty much speaks for itself. It's the most fun I've had gaming in a long long time. I havn't even logged into EQ2 or SWG which are still active till early October. I'm just absolutely loving this game.

You're kidding right. You didn't quote an opinion, you quoted facts.
TBC was an Xpac to a game that had millions of preexisting customers.
WAR got the record for week one sales of a NEW mmo. WoW didn't even sell as many copies in a week.
There is more content at release in WAR then WoW had after a year.
This is the first time in years that I've seen a forum on this site have more positive comments then negative for a game, and then most of the negative stuff has just been nit picking crap.
Why are so many WoW diehards so upset with WAR? You guys still got millions of people to play with, or are you going through the same thing the guys from my WoW guild are going through, did you lose to many people to keep raiding?
Most fun ive had in a mmo right off the bat ever...period
I havent even scratched the huge amounts of PVE content or PVE lore. Once i get to endgame and have a good RvR only character, i cant wait to reroll a PVE character to uncover as much lore as i can, and i have no plans to be rolling on destruction yet, so ill have all of that contnent to look forward too much later on. In fact its probably going to take me a year just to uncover a majority of the PVE and lore in the empire map, let alone the other two maps on the order side.
The beautiful thing about war is that if i ever get bored or burned out on the pve, i know i can public quest, open field rvr or do a scenario.
Sorry haters, but you cant name any other MMO that offers this type of gaming experience. Warhammer isnt for gamers who like to farm and grind toward an endgame that most wont reach, and grind toward an endgame where there really isnt anything to do.
Also us warhammer players have to look foward to all of the content, classes, and items they left out of release...seriously those who said warhammer is shallow are choosing to look past all of this content, its crazy how much content there is potentially.
So keep on trolling why this game sucks based off your 48 hours of experience, or getting 5 characters to level 5, either way you havent scratched the surface of the game. Warhammer does kinda suck for the first 5-7 levels, once you know what comes after thoguh its a completely diffrent game.
