Should there be an MMO of the TES, I don't really think so because of many of the reasons Rikimaru_X mentioned and as well like En1Gma mentioned it would become essentially cookie cutter. It would dilute the name and gameplay that is the base for the TES games. So I don't think there should be one, but could there be one? Of course there could be. Truely there is really no reason you could not turn any large story or enviroment into an MMO. It would obviously become like En1Gma said "cookie cutter", but it easily could become one.
You can't argue that because in the current single player saga certain elements are lacking or not present is a reason that the game could never be created. Especially in concerns of racial advantages or statistical differences between anything is a reason for the entire game to not be created. Those values can easily be minipulated, obviously, but as in why a certain creature is so much more initially advantagous can be changed through many different avenues that it really no reason to not create a game. Also removeing or adding certain game aspects that would make it more MMO friendly is just as easy as adjusting statistical advantages.
