Will Blizzard do anything about Rogus?

Is there any hope of Blizzard doing anything about Rogues or is it a case of "We don't care."? I left WoW a while ago because of how immensely overpowered rogues are and Blizzard not caring and was wondering if anyone knows whether Blizzard are going to balance them in WOTL? If not there's absolutely no reason why anyone would play any class other than a rogue anymore.
I am sure this thread is going to get flooded by Rogues roleplaying other classes. Let the trolling ensue.

Well you can tell that you haven't been round for a while as Rogues are hardly an overpowered class anymore. My first and still my main is rogue and we have been through the whole cycle of under-even-over powered and back again just like most of the other classes in the game. A well kitted and skilled rogue can take most people down, but then again so can a well kitted and skilled hunter or mage.
Class balance is difficult in all games and if you are going to leave just because one becomes more powerful than another due to one tweak or another then MMO's probably aren't for you.
There are some sweeping changes to all classes in the next expansion (possibly before) and how that is going to effect things is anyones guess at the moment, so it is pretty much a matter of watch this space.

Lets see, Warrior can beta rogue, druid can beat rogue, mage can beeat rogue, infact all classes ca beta rogue. So what is OP about rogues? You think just because they can Vanish and kidney shot they are OP? hell i play warriro and I think i am OP, only class I have trouble agasint is mages. There is no OP class, you know how to play your class and you can beta any class, yes you may struggle agasint another class from tiem to time, but on other occasions you may beat thta class easy from time to time depending on ther player.
I played warrior and warlock for two years and all I saw was rogues stunning, keeping stunned, vanishing and then coming to finish the job. L2purclass? After two years of pvp and full S3 I can't play my class right? Rogues are OP, have been OP and, unless fixed, will be OP. The fact that they can hide, and come and finish the job is funny.
As I said, I left WoW because of Blizzard not caring and if WOTL does nothing about rogues then I will go play WAR or another game because getting stunned over and over again isn't my type of fun. I can live with pallies stunning because they can only cast their shield for a few seconds and there is a long cool down. Rogues have no cool down and they are, therefor, overpowered.
see your being to shallow about this you have to consider so many things when saying some class is more overpowered than you.
1. are you pvp spec
2. are you wearing pvp gear and if so how much of it.
3. is your oppenent 1 or 2 as well
4. in the case of rogues mainly: did he catch you off guard.
5. were all you cds down and his up or vice versa
6. does the person just generally outgear you in any way
7. Is your class even good against there class
You see these are the questions....
On a side note, you must be terrible if your losing rogues as a warrior. WARRIOR=ROCK ROGUE=SISSORS
or your just never got to max level over the course of those three years to see this balance in action.

Also WoW is and never had been balanced for 1v1, there are too many specs, gear combos for it ever be balanced for 1 on 1.

Seems pretty obvious there will be no getting through to the poster, seems to have his/her mind set on rogues being overpowered.

As a warrior your having trouble agasint rogues? Rouges complain about warriors. Its not about OP classes its about ur playstyle and nothign more. jesus I dont care if you have s3 or bloody grey armour. I seen druids onw rogues, mages opwn rogues, hunters own rogues, warriors own rogues etc etc etc, so that must mean rogues must think all those classees are op.
You think because rogues can vanish they are OP? LOL
hey i got 50% crit strike on my Overpower as a warrior im op. Druids got root, hell paladins can heal themsleves. This must all be OP, no its not, its about using the skills you have and if the other class beats you then they beAT you.i
iN world pvp if they strike firST and catch you of guard, well then thats the way the cookie crumbles, its upto you to survuve as long as you can and even if they get you first try to adjust to the situation, if its in duels then all have 50-50 chance of winning.
Who is Rogus and why is he a problem for Blizzard?
Anyways, I don't think Blizzard will do any more Nerfs until the expansion comes out, then the balance of all the classes will change anyways...
Well that rant just went to show how little you know on the subject that you apparently left the game for. "Rogues have NO cool down", what the hell is that about??? We have cooldown on abilities like anyone else, although if you use your preperation (10 minute cooldown BTW) correctly to repeat some skills in conjunction with your other skills you can do a pretty good job one on one, but when it comes to multiple targets it is a different matter.
What is most annoying about your rant is that you are fine with Pally's being able to shield up with almost no health left and fully re-heal themselves, that's fine is it??
I'm sorry but it sounds like you had your ass kicked a couple of times by a decently geared/skilled rogue and you can't let it go and on top of that you are completely unwilling to listen to other peoples views to the contrary (which would beg the question 'why post here').
If you really hate getting your ass kicked i would give any game with a PvP element a wide berth if i were you, maybe Hello Kitty Online would be more suitable for you.

Rogues are overpowered in HKO as well.

I have no problems with Rogues at all on my frost mage.
If they get the surprise attack on me, then it's like 50-50%. If I see them before they get to me, it's like 90% win.
Now shadow priest.. they give me fits!!! Nerf them!! LOL
Funniest quote i ever hard about rogues being OP.. and it came from a frost mage " I couldn't even get one frost bolt off with the rogue beating on me". I think that is basically what the original poster was going through.. Yes, if you don't know how to change your tactics based on your opponent, you will lose. In your case, this is really sad because warriors probably have the easist time of anyone against rogues. As a warrior, you should be winning 90% of the time 1v1 vs a rogue.
But as others have said, wow is balanced 1v1 (no game should be)...and even then 1v1 vs a rogue is just determined a lot by if they surprise you.
It's easier to shout overpowered about another class rather then look at your own shortcommings... Let that one sink in.
