Pvp tactics?

SlappanSlappan Member Posts: 289

What tactics are good to use in pvp? In theory, I think that units that can hit multiple enemies like spearmen and vikings are essential to any pvp team. I also think that shamans, monks, support classes in general are also vital to any good pvp team. Swordsmen make good tanks in PVE based combat, but I think that their mediocre magic ability and their single hit damage severely limits their pvp potential.

Oh and archers of course, with their ability to hit any single unit in the combat field, are extremely important for taking out important individual units.

Are any of you Atlantica Online players planning to take pvp seriously? I believe that there are multiple rewards for doing well at pvp.

Swordsmen usually attack first, so I focus fire them on shaman. A team without shaman is crippled easily, it can't stand long enough during battles. Disabling their mages is also one tactic. Mages do massive splash damage.

in my opinion in pvp in here was you need a solid frontliner that have have a high hp and good defense..  and another important thing your main character must have a long range  skill to attack the main character of the opponent even though if he/she still have his frontlines merc. . i think archer is good for pvp  ^_^

the main focus is the enemy's healer.

ONCE THE HEALER IS DEAD, THE PARTY IS DEAD

of course, they are dependent on healers. and so are you. you have to protect yours, and you hav to kill theirs fast.

    consider these jobs:

PRINCESS - decreases artillerys damage, good for healers to stay alive. they will focus on killing them so this is a good help.

ARCHER - use silent shot on their healer. it will give u ability to delay their healing moves.

MONK - use their skills to protect your healers.

ANY RANGE JOBS - use to kill the enemy's healers.

My PVP tactics is to nuke the hero and take away their shamans..... if they have frontliners kill only those who blockeing the boss... make your way to the hero

I would use a archer to silence the healer or one of the nukers, probably one of the nukers and just focus fire on the shaman and cut thru anything preventing my melee from attacking it

After realizing the main disadvantage of having a healer as your avatar, I'm considering right now to change my character into a swordsman or axe. they have a balance hp and def plus in the latter part of the game, the + in their equips will give them a great advantage especially the axe who can really play a crucial part in the early game because of their skill they can freeze enemies.I think I'm not going to continue my character as a mage and have to create a new one lol

really? i dont think so. for early levels for instance. i find healers a must for party. potions are not so friendly-abundant in the game. well i guess you can change your character when you can hire some shamans. monks are also useful too, try to consider buffer in the party. Cursers(curse characters) are very much helpful too. they can disable your enemies attack advantage.
