One of those annoying "what game should I play next?" threads

So, it's that time of year again. I've run the gamut of free MMOs once again and I am ready to pay CASH MONEY (the word is frugal not cheap, thanks) to play something that is not cookie cutter.

The question is, what's available? To give you an idea of what I want, here are some games I've played.

Games I liked:

Ryzom - Tons of freedom and incredible depth. Classless system, every aspect of the game is configurable, e.g. magic spells can be tailored for distance, damage, casting time, and mana usage. Each spell pro has to be balanced with a con  in the form of mana cost, casting time, or life taken from the caster. (This is just one aspect, everything in Ryzom is like this, even simple actions have 10000 options.)

DOMO (Dream of Mirror Online) - Another classless MMO, allowing for fun and diverse gameplay. Very social game, focused on partying. Great pet system, with strong combat ready pets right out of the gate (or egg, as it may be) and not just pretty sprites.

Xiah Online - Fast paced combat, keeps you on your toes (read: frantic clicking.)

Games I really didn't like:

FLYFF - Grindy and boring combat.

Perfect World - Grindy and boring combat. Antisocial community.

Last Chaos - Grindy and boring combat.

Rappelz - Very linear character development, pets are useless unless they are high level w/good gear.

So basically I'd like something classless, with fast paced combat (either forcing you to think fast or act fast, not click once and press a button occasionally) with pets that are more than just trophy wives, that is party based. Oh, and no games with one foot in the grave, please. I want to play a populated game, where the existing community isn't just a bunch of leftover carebears and fan-boy/girls with abandonment issues.

Right now I'm playing Mabinogi and paying for it even though I find it incredibly boring and the botting is out of control.

If you liked ryzom i guess you would like EVE aswell, atleast give it a try

I beg to differ. PW dosen't have an antisocial community. We just like to talk on the forums better than anything else. (I am soley speaking for the Chinese community, though.)
