I cant seem to choose what to play LoTR or EQII. I want a game that has a good population and good community. Something that has a bloody huge world and is not 100% solo driven. Which one should I play? Anything else anyone would want to recommend? Thanks in advanced...

WOW - WIn XP
LOTRO - Win 2000
EQ2 - Win 98
AOC - Windows CE
FFXI - Win 3.1
F2P - Copied WIndows
WAR - MacOsX Leopard
LoTRO has one of the best mmo communites. Everyone is friendly and willing to help out new players.
Also the game looks pretty good, especially if you have DX10.
Lotro is one hell of a good game and the community is great. it does however seem to loose some appeal (i have no idea why, it just does) but it has an expansion coming out that many change this. EQ2 was also a brilliant game however it suffers from a lack of population (and one that is willing to help) which can be a huge problem for those who are unable to solo well (lots of classes so choose carefully).
i recomend Lotro especially with an expansion due soon. EQ2 if you enjoy some 'classic' dungeons (EQ2 an Vanguard easily hold my most favourite dungeon/group moments in my time with MMO's) and a detailed world (slightly more so than Lotro)
MMO wish list:
-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
Both of them have trials you could download.
Warning opinion follows: I tried the EQII and just couldn't get in to it for entirely superficial reasons--my spells didn't have any visual oomph. I can't knock it for gameplay or depth though, because I didn't allow myself to get far in it.
