I play this game in 2-3 hour runs per day. I got work so I can't really go power levelling. And the stamina never really gets below 50, and it gets reset the next time I log in.
i play atlantica online whenever i have the time to. maybe around 3 hours a day on average. i also never seem to use up stamina completely. i'll get fazed at all the people who do.
I have been addicted to Atlantica Online ever since I played Cb2. The game is pure addiction to the hilt that even I myself in holiday am accessing the game through my laptop.
The beta is running well and I have found a few friends. Still I do not get adequate team for getting giant crystals for upgrading my Beast-Master. But then again not many have leveled to level 50s yet. My other mercs need to be upgraded and ashen crystal drops are not as much as they used to be in Cb2 and Cb3. Thus it’s a bit off a grind to get to them.
Made a guild, got a town and currently transferred the leadership to another enthusiast.
Am I loosing interest to be a long time gamer in this game?
Well, may be unless and until the giant crystal farming and ashen farming finds people, then the game is surely going to make me loose interest in it.
Town system is funny.
Only towns those are near to some dungeons are widely accessed. This is not a great idea to have a town. Thus we see imbalance in here. The towns that are bided by more professional gamers may be support base of the game will eventually make the most dough in this Atlantica World.
I really think, the town control should be made into a raffle based on guild point’s , level and number of members online at the point of raffle draw and thus greater important towns can be won by smaller guilds also. In this way they will be able to make some money for some time being also. A bit of luck factor will make it more lucrative.
I have played the Cb2 and Cb3 and I feel, there were more players in Cb than in Open beta. I may be very wrong in here. I never had to farm crystals in Cb2 and Cb3 and always got parties for shadow dungeons.
Are the crystal drops tweaked and nerfed and due to the easy leveling system of the game has they nerfed the game and made it a bit more difficult?
Really do not know about those details but if Cb could keep me engaged till level 68 then why Ob is failing?
This answer will be answered in a few days as I progress into a high level vacant world of Atlantica Online. I have found out that new players are not that addictively leveling barring a few professional hardcore gamers. I remember my Cb addiction was way too much and I leveled very fast.
The learning curve of the game is not much but there are a few decision making points where you might find a bit of trouble at higher levels, if you have taken a wrong decision. But then again almost anything can be achieved and everything is reversible, so you do not have to worry.
Apart from all this, it is a fun game to play and people will continue to level as long as free league is really the way it is.

Open up the Internet, join in all the Mmorpgs you can. Go make the Guild. But never, never let them persuade you that things are too difficult or impossible. "

Its good to know that you also think this is a fun game. Though i'm not really sure if the free league should stay the way it is because I've been reading some things about the free league being unbalanced and all that. I haven't tried out the free leagues yet because I just feel that my setup isn't ready for PVP yet, but seeing those posts still stir a bit of doubt.
You know whats funny? I rarely have time to play the game considering my workload but whenever i get the chance to do so i level up pretty quick! i guess my schedule works hand in hand with the stamina system since i dont get to burn it all out. well im still a noob but yeah although theres not much playing time, the utility of each time i get to play is is phenomenal
Can't get enough of this game...I've only played for about 8-10 hours the first day I played but I couldn't put it down..(would have kept going if not for having to work)..I burned through all my stamina and just kept going.
Sadly I don't have a lot of time (well to me anyway) to play all the time like I want to.
I haven't been this excited about playing a game since back in the days of playing Everquest.
This games combat system reminds me of the Shining Force on the Sega Console system. I didn't put that game down for 3 months after I got it, and beat it several times in a row before finally turning off my sega...(it was on Sega channel and if you left the Sega on you didn't get the new games )
I will be using this game to keep me busy until Star Trek Online comes out...The Trekkie in me is just too strong not to play that game when it finally comes.
