Could you name a 5 some or something of these "countless" bugs?

Besides the always mentioned 'Loot Bug', which wasn't really a bug in the software but more the servers not being able to handle the load as well, same as the mail. (A bug every MMo developer would love to have)

No, but can you give me proof that there were no bugs?

What are you, 4? He didn't say the game had no bugs and you weren't simply making the point that the game had them, you were making the point that it had a lot of bugs or "countless" as you put it.

Now, let me show you how adolescent your question was:

God does not exist. Can you give me any proof that he does? Well, if not, then I'm obviously right.

    Grow up, moron.

Not saying that it will, but it MIGHT.

I think that you have put your finger on the issue here. Normally people play a computer game, get bored, then another games comes along, and they play that.

MMOs are rather different. Generally I would play a game, for about 3 months max. DAoC (my first MMO) nearly four years. I got upset closing the accounts and moving on (to LotR). I wasn't really that bothered moving from LotR to WAR (since I had only been playing that for six months, and most of that PvMP).

So why the fanatical post over WoW verses WAR? Players have invested years of gameplay in WoW, anything that is a percieved threat to their investment requires immediate attack :)

So, will these players be playing WoW for the rest of their gaming career? or at some point are they going to accept that they will have close down their accounts and move on?

At the moment they are denial that one day "their" game will close and another take it place. I am not sure that WAR is suffiently "advanced" or different to drain WoW of it player base. However, I think that if it does not make a dent in their player base then Mythic and EA will be disappointed :)

I was simply stating my opinion, it's people like you who randomly come into a forum conversation acting all smart ass pointing out people's faults in their posts. Lets keep with the post topic shall we?

Look, I respect what you say, but I played many MMO since UO and I can tell you I never being bored of a game from Closed Beta.

    Warhammer is the first one.

No WoW wasn't as fun as it is now, but it was fun.

WAR doesn't feel like a living world, full stop (or period if u are from America).

To me it feels like Battlefiled 1942, but with Orcs and Elves..

That's not what majority of people is looking in a MMORPG (certainly not me, but many seems to agree).

RvR is great, but a decent PvE and the comunity should be the main element of a MMORPG, and WAR lack both these features, so go figure.

thats exactly the reason why i think war is gonna get a success.. because it appels to many fps players. and the majority of gamers is surly not mmo gamers.. mmo gengre is tiny compared to fps gengre.. and war is a really nice in between fun experiance imo.

WoW has been out for almost 4 years, not 10.

WAR: Online has been in development for at least 3 years.  WoW has been in development for a bit longer, but that still doesn't excuse this pathetic attempt at a game.

We expected a sweet game to carry on the legacy of WoW and other solid MMOs, but this game sucks.  That's why we're upset.

I couldn't compare WoW and WAR just because WoW has been out for four years now and WAR has only been out for a couple weeks now? WoW is not the same game at all that it  was at launch so only time will tell which game truely is better.

I played WoW since launch and my honest opinion is that sure they added a lot of cool new things along the way but the game was a lot better back then in my opinion, I just don't like the direction WoW is going with the arena pvp and all that. I had a blast playing WoW but the game was a lot more fun back then now its just like a e-sport with the arena, Epic gear is no longer hard to achieve anyone can get geared out in a short amount of time.

Also the new level 80 talents they're giving all the classes... these overpowering talents which I think Blizzard will run into some problems with. I'm just not into it anymore, I don't know why everybody tries comparing the two.

Most people who are criticizing WAR in my opinion are the people coming over from WoW expecting so much, and expected it be quick and easy to pick up like WoW.

No game is going to "kill" WoW , if anything it will die out on its own. I am currently enjoying Warhammer and think it has great potential to be the next best MMO but only time will tell. I would like to see a few more races maybe and careers but right now I think its a solid game.

not that i play wow but that is news for me.

I know it is not to clear, but I think he was also including WOW's development cycle in those years.

4 years live this November and about 5 years in the making, comes to around 9 years.

And did you miss where WAR is only a month old?  He cheated with the comparisions.
