why do people claim that war is so boring yet spend all day in the war forum posting about how boring the game is. why are you holding on? there is enough naysayers on this board...can you explain why you are obsessed with something so "Boring"

Trolls, viral marketers and fanbois of other games. There is no reason to hate on a game in the first place. They are nothing but a distraction and bring down the entire worth of this website. Hating on a game because you don't like it is nothing but pathetic. The level of it on this site has become increasingly worse. If you want any kind of meaningful discussion about any MMO, go to other websites. Even IGN is better. Maybe someday this site will live up to it's potential, but for now, the forums here are a waste of bandwidth.

I don't really get it either. There are plenty of MMO's that I loathe and completely fail to grasp how anyone finds them entertaining, but what's the point of trying to convince them otherwise? I seriously could care less about a complete stranger's tastes.
Why is that when people complain about this game (on an open discussion forum mind you) that people automatically accuse them of ignorance? You guys all same the same shit, "You haven't even played the game, so shut up!"
Then, when people are negative in describing their in game experience (you know, after they tried the game for themselves) you just say, "We don't care," or "Why do you have to post this?"
Then, those same people see a thread praising WAR for it's easy mode carebear bullshit and all the fanbois exclaim, "Excellent post!"
Grow up.
Actually, it's the casuals and carebears that brought down the worth of this site. This site use to have intellectual discussions. Now it's full of idiots that actually think games like WoW and WAR are "good."
Well, you got to let it out somewhere...and for some people this is the place.
Look, most people complaining are people who have spent around €50 for a game they hoped they would love, and when they find out that the game is not enjoyable for them then this frustration is bound to boil over into the forums, its not just the money its the overall disapointment along with the money.
What i don't get is that people complain about people complaining...I can understand the first lot, but the second lot is not needed and here I sit complaining about people who complain about people who complain O.o

Is that right? Intellectual like calling someone that likes a GAME, any game, an idiot? Do you know how rediculously small you sound? Get over yourself, they're games. The site is about MMOs and if you think WOW and WAR are crap then stay the hell out of their forums. Simple no?
EDIT: And in case you didn't notice, I joined just before you did. So i'm not sure what the hell you're talking about. I've been here through the same timeframe you have and it's always been full of trolls flamming games they don't play, don't like or know nothing about.

While you do have right that it is actually ok to say you don't like a game in some threads, many people posts whining stuff that is totaly off topic. If the thread is about next update then the: "This game will die in 3 months, it sux" remarks really have nothing there to do at all.
Still, WAR is less trolled than AoC here at the moment, might change however because it is getting worse...
Either you like a game or not, stay on topic when you posts. Answer the OPs question or statement, not that you hate Mythic, FunCom or Blizzard and hope they will close down soon.
