Alternative Mercenaries

When you look at the mercenary lists, there are special kinds of mercenaries like Lady Knights and Beastmasters. Do they have upgraded statistics from the other "regular" swordsmen class, or do they only have different skills? At what levels do you get these mercenaries? The alternative mercenaries look awesomely awesome. Especially the exorcist and spartan.

i am also curious about the alternative merca this is my way of bumping the thread up.. hope someone answers this.. i am interested in learning more about artilleriers and their difference with cannoneers.

Well, they are obtained much like the Monk, through a series of quests. After that, you can hire them. They are indeed a special class of mercenary. I don't know, however, which ones you get at what level. I do know that the Monk, for instance, is obtained at.....20, I think.

I already got an answer by looking at another forum. For those interested, here are the specific levels when the quests for these mercenaries are given.

Beast Trainer - Lvl 44 Quest

Witch - Lvl 51 Quest

Exorcist - Lvl 57 Quest

Princess - Lvl 63 Quest

Prophet - Lvl 70 Quest

Oracle - Lvl 76 Quest

Inventory - Lvl 84 Quest

Cannoneer - Lvl 87 Quest

Lady Knight - Lvl 95 Quest

Spartan - Lvl 100 Quest, requires Lady Knight, Exorcist and Beast Trainer marble
