I have been browsing the market for pocket PC's, do I mind if I ask you a few questions about your new toy there Dekron?

     1. Can it play mp3's and download music?

     2. Can it play large movie sizes? (Basically full dvd movies like Harry Potter, ect.)

     Well, thats about it.

yup.  Matter of fact, Im downloading some music right now as we speak. The HD is 128 HD however I ordered 1 gig from newegg.com for 100 bucks.  Also, you can even download movies considering u have the hard drive.

     2. Can it play large movie sizes? (Basically full dvd movies like Harry Potter, ect.)

yes, but youll need to buy an extra memory slot for that (as I have done...no PC will come with 1 gig right away) however their dirt cheap at newegg.com (cheaper than PC harddrives.

     Well, thats about it.

Looks real goodimage.  One question though....have you tried the bluetooth capability and how good is it?

bluetooth is pretty sweet.  I hooked up bluetooth on my printer so I can do whatever I need to do on my Axiom, then transfer it to the printer without cables.

However, bluetooth is utterly worthless if you have no other computer without bluetooth technology.  I see in the next 5 years many computers will be installing this chip in everything as it will virtually make all cables (except for power cables) worthless, thus freeing up more space. It's a neat trinket..but i dont need it.

However the Wireless Internet (not to be confused with Bluetooth...as I thought bluetooth was the wireless internet) is pretty dang sweet.  Right now Im at Best Buy sitting down watching a Movie in their TV section typing this up to you....they have wirless internet too lol....apparently almost everybuilding Ive been into has wireless as I have been connected now for a good 2 hours.

I also bought a wireless router for my cable internet from Best Buy...so when that bad boy is hooked up, every single computer in my house will become wireless ready (they all have the cards to do so)

Also, I have a GPS satellite sensor on this bad boy.  LOL, for what reason?  lol I have no idea...I guess if I get stranded on an Island it'll be nice to have...

But for 250 bucks you can get the same thing I did but for 320 mhz instead of 640 mhz and no GPS

Best Buy is selling a 200 mhz without wireless internet for 350 bucks.....

i know a lot of people dont like Dell, etc....but Im sorry .....where can you get a Pocket PC thats 624 mhz, wireless intergrated for 349 dollars?

IPaq closest Handheld at 624 Mhz sells for 649 dollars and you have to buy the Integrated Wireless equipment seperate!

Also, I have talked to collegues and the IT tech department of one of my friend's jobs.  Many of them that do not have a Palm Pilot has a Dell....many of them has had the same one for 3 years now and never had any problems...also, Pocket Pcs aren't that advanced yet where you can say Ipaq uses high quality parts and that reflects the cost.

I mean...... 349 dollars with internet at 624 mhz or 624 dollars w/o internet at 624 mhz?  I mean...lol, I choose to pick the more inexpensive one.

Anyways...I did it all online and receive a confirmation email plus a tracking number through UPS.  And I watched it all the way to my house.

as a note about wireless routers, use your encryption ppl!
I can connect to 5 peoples lans from my house LOL.

needless to say, its almost too easy lol, I can drive down the street with my wireless network card and go seraching through ppls computers.

That aside lol, I am thinking about getting my hands on that very same Pocket PC, I have had about 5+ so far (business has been trying to implement software with them all, so I get to try them all)

But yea, youd really be surprised how many people go for the wireless thing now, as I said earlier, I live in a small hick town and I can get 5 wireless hubs from my house.

But yea, its amazing what technology can do now adays

Heh, that's funny. Just yesterday some car was parked outside doing some wireless hacking. Of course, my parents had to buy a cheap unencrypted router, so i quickly unplugged the router from the wall. I checked out my window, the guy had a wierd look on his face (kind of like that "What the f***?" kind of expression) he looked out his car and saw me at my window. I gave him the finger and he drove off. Anyways, i think it was too late because my computers internet goes on and off alot, which is weird.

You can download encrypters... I think. I never really checked... my router has one. Although, I had my friend who is real good with hacking come over and fix it... because it was crappy. But now, it is pretty awesome. Even though no one in my neighborhood is smart enough to try to get on it.

Hmm ok maybe someone here has a solution to my problem. We recently got wireless internet because of the laptop (which i currently use , since my comp is just a peice of sh*t lol) We have ours encrypted but people in the area dont. We pick up like atleast 3 other peoples signals and sometimes even like 5. The problem is that there always intervining with ours. For example im one the internet for about 10 minutes on our connection (B) then after about 15 minutes it get intercepted by someone elses and disconnects ours and connects to theres. The guy that set up the wireless router and everything (a guy that works for my dad) said that the only way to fix this , is go around the neighbourhood and find out whos connection it is and tell them to put a encryption key on it. Considering we live in a suburb and are surrounded by like 200 people , easier said then done lol. So im wondering if anyone has had this problem and has an alternative to fixing it , its annoying as hell getting disconnected when im playing a online game every 10 mins.

I hope that made sense...i mightve typed it a little too fast lol :P
