Controlled zones falling back to uncontrolled too quickly?

Hi Guys,

Enjoying the game, but Im a bit in the dark over the zone control system. I understand the mechanics of PVE, Open RVR and Scenerios all contributing to victory points in working out control of a zone..but:

1. On my server Order has a good record of gaining control of tier 1 Empire vs Chaos. But it only lasts a few minutes, before going back to contested / uncontrolled. Is this due to Chaos fighting back, or is there a 'rubber band' mechanism in the game that tends to pull things back to neutral again?

2. Is there anyway to see victory points, apart from the graph representations. That graph, by the way seems to be oddly reversed from what is on the main screen in comparison to the map screen.. Anybody else confused by that?

I just wish either order, or chaos could hold a zone. Maybe its just the server I play on, but it seems very hard for either side to hold anything.

Agreed. It would mean more, if the control would stay a bit longer.

    1) It's also effected by people turning in quests and doing pq's in the area. So I suppose that's them fighting back.

    2) I think I saw it on the map screen today, some little round buttons at the bottom when you bring up different area maps and you click different hotspots but I could be wrong, not sure if they were numbers with bars, too tired now.

What you have to understand is that in tier one there are no keeps, only battlefield objectives. Because battlefield objectives are much easier to capture with a small group they will change possession often. Once you enter tier two, you will notice keeps stay in your realms hands much longer than BOs.

    STOP WHINING!
