hello.. i am looking to build a computer that i can use to run stock programs and windows xp smoothly... i want it in a micro atx case.... and i wan to spend between 250-350... i have the operating system already... i am wondering.. should i build it myself or buy it premade? any advice? thanks

For such little cash you're better off buying from a vendor with a bulk discount on parts. You're looking at a very low end system in that budget. Save more money I say.
You should build it yourself. I just referenced some sites, and you can buy a couple shuttle PCs low enough but not of a quality for the price.
Unless you know what you are doing, I'd suggest buying a pre-made and save yourself a lot of headaches. Try Ebay if you're on a limited budget as you'll be able to search through new and used systems.
for that sort of money you could buy one of those half-laptops that run XP and have no drives for $360/£180.

you should not build it yourself.. other people who tried it ended up breaking their ram or even their video cards.. better safe than sorry
