Free League Prizes

I'm thinking about participating in free league. I heard that even if you lose, you'll still get prizes. What are the prizes that you can earn from free league? What other incentives do you get from free league aside from prizes and honor?

From what i hear, you get points that you can exchange in rome for prizes.

I am excited about this as well and would want to see the list if anyone can post of possible prizes.

You also get coin shards even if you loose.. you can sell them for 1k gold each at some npcs..

 I went in for the first time last night, won all 7 of my games and ended up with 120 Atlantis Coin Shards.  Traded them into a vendor for 120k gold, which is great.  I also got about 30 experience books, whichs were somewhat useful for catching my viking up to the rest of my party a bit more.I also moved up 2 divisions, so now I have a [16] beside my char's name.

Of course you also get entered ot win real cash/prizes, so i'd say you should definitely try it

me too im division 16.. what my problem is im not yet ready for this division.. my level is too low for this diviision... but i can't loss.. hmm.. my plans is to intentionally loss the battle to drop mydiviosn back to 17 or if lucky to 18... but are there any special prize if you reach higher division???

some people ive played with in the free league dont even move.. theyre just after atlantic shards which fetches around 1k in certain npcs.. its profitable in a lazy way because you dont risk losing exp and after the loss you earn atlantic shards.. and each free league consists of at least 4-5 matches, and each match randomly gives u 1-2 shards so at the very least you could earn from 4k-10k each free league WHILE ON AFK

yeah instead of retreating that can cause you lose gold and exp.. just dont move and wait until your character dies... in that way you still earn coin shards without sacrificing your exp and gold... it is also a cool way to decrease you division level in order for you to demote and fight to lower division.. because lower division means less tougher opponents... and less tougher opponents is more chance of winning and more chance of winning means more coin shard and more coin sahrd means more GOLD!!!! and thats how you can get rich in atlantica the lazyman way!!!! hehehe

yesterday, if i remember correctly  i joined free league around 3-4 times and i earned 57 atlantic shards... thats a total of a whopping 57000 gold... talk about racketing... and that was with me playing each of the battles so i guess your performance will determine the number of shards you get even if you lose... but if you win you get not just shards but an opportunity to fight more battles... it definitely is a win win situation fighting in free league... as of now the only disadvantage that i know of in resorting to this kind of lazy profiteering is the win/lose record percentage becase your Lose record is definitely gonna pile up

Aside from the coins, you can also get the drops from the players you've killed. Secrets of crafting, some potions, etc are the ones I got from the first try. Besides, if the only reason I'm joining the league is for the coins, then I'd be better off collecting other items or crafting stuff that can sell at a much higher price.

Soon 50,000 will be chump change to you.  1,000,000 is a lot of money, not 50,000.

The higher division you are, the more coin shards drop.  In weekend championship tourneys better coins drop and there is a chance to win a mount.

if i remember correctly prizes in weekly competitions are heavenly horse and some money.. although it got me curious? what the hell is a heavenly horse? what makes it different or stronger than a regular normal horse? and how come ive seen low level players riding on horses? how exactly do u get a horse aside from winning competitions

Yeah I've seen them too. They're probably high level already with their equipment over upgraded. I think the horse only makes you look cool and adds movement speed -- well, it is a horse.

On horses, aside from winning tourneys, you can also get a horse randomly given from a treasure chest, either the one eyed pirate or even the old map that was given by gms/des.

The one i got from it is a thoroughbred for 7 days.

From what i know you get riding points from riding that you can exchange once more for prizes.

Riding Points? That sounds a bit bizarre. Though it is funny. You get to ride a horse that has some benefits in itself then you also get points and have it exchanged.

Speaking of free league prizes, Atlantica reaches it's required number of participant which is 10k to unlock the big prizes they offer.. upon reaching the 10k participants, each participants have the chance to win ipods and even cash price the amounted to $2,000... imagine just playing can make you earn money...
