Where's the "I don't give a shit, i just come here to troll" option?
"The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands, To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming! On we sweep with threshing oar, our only goal will be the western shore."
LMAO! Well this is the wheel of nerf by Blizzard. Long ago the shamans were way overpowered in pvp - then they got nerfed so bad that they almost suck in pvp - then the rise of the warlock and now they are getting what they deserve..er.. oops did I say that? All the people who switched to warlock because they are op in pvp will quit wow? Good riddens .. Now all those same minded people will roll a rogue... and the cycle goes on.
Thats why I have like 5 level 70 toons in wow woot!!! Let em nerf, balance, buff ,who cares,I can always play one of my alts if one of them gets nerfed oh my gosh the sky is falling run to the hills!!!
I play a warlock and what bothers me so much is that if such a class is really giving you a hard time then why not bring a friend or two and counter-attack them? It seems a lot of the posts revolve around 1 vs 1 rather than trying to seek the facts that each class has a strength and weakness. I have been BGing a lot and the biggest mistake that people do is not being aware of their surroundings and end up in a trap where the rogue's strengths are high and eventually lock you down in most cases. Pvp trinket and deathcoil may help a little but hopefully a friend can aid you and counter-attack from the distance with dots and fears before their cooldowns are up again. If people are reviewing the warlock class by dueling then all means they are stupid. Then again, I am looking forward being a lock in the expac and see what more tricks to play around with in pvp or pve. I am not too concerned unless they force us into the same old 0/21/50 spec which I hardly doubt due to Affliction being on par again for PvE. We will see. P.S. English is my weakness so bare with me. :P
You are exactly right here and I applaud your post dude. I play several toons including a mage which everyone seems to think they suck in pvp,but me.I play my mage in groups and play my toon as it was intended as a ranged dps. and always have a blast and kill the crap out of the other guys.WoWs classes were balanced more to the group aspect more than the 1 on 1 scenario.Does it have its faults yes and so does every mmo out there.I personally think wow is ok so long as you keep a group mentality.
No really. The BETA testers are telling horror stories about warlocks haveing their a$$es handed to them and I mean they re the one-eyed, left-handed, red-headed step child of WOW in WOTLK. They just keep nerfing warlocks whilst ret pallies are 3 shotting everything in sight. And don't get me stated on mages who are now so OP they might as well be bosses. It's sick twisted thing Blizzard did to warlocks and they keep buffing stunlock! My freind has the best PVP gear in WOW and he gets stunlocked by blue rogues from 100 to 0. Thus rogues need to be nerfed ...or rather stunlock does or all warlocks will quit.
Your friend is exaggerating, tbh. There is no such thing as 100>0 stunlock if you're in full pvp gear. An early trinket break still completely messes up a stunlock rotation, and you still have a few moments to respond in the middle of a rotation. If your friend isn't good enough to take advantage of those moments like everybody else has to do when fighting a rogue, then he deserves to die each time.
If you want to complain about stunlock, complain about dismantle being used during the stun gap. This means _complete_ shutdown on melee (and hunters) for the entire rotation.
Just to clarify what the OP is talking about, warlocks have lost some of their "tough caster" status. This means they now have to deal with stunlocks in the same way that every other class has to, and all the nooblocks who were getting by before are now drowning the forums in rivers of QQ.
And no, they're not quitting in droves. Every class says that every day.

Can anyone tell me what there doin to the hunter? I wasnt impressed w/ the BC skills, only one i can even remeber was kill command!
There is way too much to get into with just one post if you haven't been keeping track, to be honest. Hunters are getting changed quite a bit.

Yeah, you basically have to stand there and try to do nothing to be 'stunlocked' from 100 to 0.
Or as a fellow frost mage said " OMG.. that rogue took me from 100 to 0 before I had time to cast my frostbolt". <<<<<< bad bad mage.
