Query on the division system on free league

How does the divisio n system in free league work? From my experience after coming from a loss I just keep
on getting higher power players each time. Isnt it supposed to be that after a loss I go into a losers bracket
and fight weaker players? My team is not yet bad but the luck of the draw always refuses to favor my way.. Is it
just a random system of selecting battles?

Your division will be determine on how you perform in the free league.. if you always won eventhough you are low level there is a chance that you climb up to other divsion.. and expect those in the higher divsion will be a tough opponent becasue they also earn their way there to the top.. so you will be surprised that there are low lvls who are in high division and hi lvl who plays on the low division becasue lik what i've said it depends on your performance...
