Marketing Atlantica Online

I came across this great game by pure luck, and boy am I lucky.  What do you think Ndoors should do to market this game and help expand the playerbase?

i dunno. maybe they should try putting ad banners. the ones that randomly pop around sites. haha.

but i think the fact that atlantica online has got its own forum here at mmorpg.com already says that they must be pretty good at marketing.

marketing in atlantica is great!!! you vend your items in a minute or two it is sold out!!! unlike other games that you spend days or weeks just to sell your items.. and what good is that while your items is on  vend you can leave it there and continue on your journey.. it is very hassle free system

i agree, the market is a game in itself! for people with business acumen they could spend litereally hours just sitting in the market watching the trends as they go up down.. its a very profitable way of playing the game since you easily get rich just by being a noob..

although this is off topic i pay my sepects to original OP:

marketing this game? you could advertise the free virtual economy ingame

its a good enough come on for intellectual people who dont play video games but wants to learn more about economics lol

I think they are already Marketing enough. I have seen one ad in a lyrics site. Mind you, that is a database for lyrics, not something gamers would be going to at any day. If they truly want to expand their database, i think its best for them to just wait and see atm. And I think there are interested with registration problems. They should do something about that too.

oh, now that a lyrics site has been mentioned, i think it would also be good if atlantica online would have a soundtrack done by a prominent band. a lot of gaming forums actually have offtopic threads that go 'what are you currently listening to?' and it goes to show that some gamers are also music enthusiasts.

They are probably gonna advertise this game more heavily once it's officially released.

I've noticed a lot of animated advertisements in different sites that I go to, mostly gaming sites, anime blogs, and the like. Seems that they are really serious about marketing this game to a lot of players. It's a bigger project than I anticipated - certainly a lot bigger than many F2P MMORPGs.

Most probably they will do projects after project on marketing this game on official release. Though if you guys have seen the videos released by ndoors on this(the animated ones) they are cools.

The video on a batle with a swordy hero, with a merc of mainly a viking and archer. The viking's freezing axe is done beautifully on that video. They were battling a mummy boss

Let me see if i still have the link. i'll post it later. i need to dig it up at the most.

I've seen a lot of other videos in xfire. You can record your own vids there. I plan on saving my boss battle experiences and then show how I pwned the bastard.

Really, the marketing of this game is really wide. At least they're serious about it.
