which one should i get,a wii or an xbox360?

imma ask my mom to buy me one of those two consoles mentioned above.which one do u think is better?and why?

I would say the wii would be a better console.  It has much different devices and gameplay.  It also has cross-platform ability with the Nintendo DS.  Its gaming portfolio is also diverse compared to the XBox360 which has mostly games aimed at adolescent males.  That and the XBox360 robs you in certain areas id you don't know what your looking for.  Chances are your mom will not know the difference between the XBox360 Arcade and the XBox360 80GB.

oh yes,and lets not forget the xbox 360's infamous three flashing red lights,but xbox 360 looks so yummy and irresistable,and the xbox live features looks pretty well decent,but i believe wii got like similar services,like they have online community and you can also download games using the console itself.but i have to say,if xbox360 got titles aimed to appeal on teenage boys,i gotta say,wii got titles that appeals mostly to young kids.in short,its too kiddish.

 Depends on what you like. If you like causual games that waggle, when the only truly good ones are made by Nintendo, then go wth a Wii. If you like the wide variety of popular games, go with the Xbox 360. To be honest, the best bet is to get both. Personally, I have all three.

The three red lights hardly happens anymore.

 

Both great systems and your comment wii, its to kiddish not true at all, Wii has great titles, Just check out the list for both get the one you like the best. I have a 360 and love it but wish i had a wii aswell.

Halo 3 and guitar hero and rock band series will also be on the 360 also talk of the Final Fantasy series being placed on the 360 and xbox live teares up wii live or ps3 live

I'd get the xbox 360...well I did as a matter of fact. I just don't like having to flail my arms around to play a game. I can play basketball outside when I want exercise. I play games to relax.

buy xbox 360, seriously.. more serious and entertaining games.. best graphics also.. the only positive thing about the wii is for social interaction.. that's all

Remember.. if you get the Xbox 360.. this is the kind of people you'll have to play with..

 

Sadly, though, I would get the Xbox 360 myself. I already have a Wii that I hardly use (it is the BEST drunk console to have..)

But.. still.. I use the PC to game.. it's just a LOT funnier I think..

As someone who has all 3 consoles the Wii is my least favorite, in fact I have not played it for a month because theres not much good games for it other than zelda, metroid, and smash brothers which I dont play anymore.  So I would say 360 because the games are more mature, better graphics, and theres just more AAA quality games out and coming.  And PS3 also kicks ass especialy this year and next year with tons of exclusives coming out, Metal Gear Solid 4 is one hell of a game.
