I would like Erling Ellingson to wash my car. Then I would be satisfied. He only has to do it once. All I ask is that he towel dries it and waxes it. Some black tyre paint would be nice too.

Yea, that would nice as well.. LOL I like this response... hahahah
is there any petition on this website have done any effect lol look a D3 everyone signed into this website to ask Blizzard to make the game more bloody and darker since actually look like cartoon and the art arent good at all.
Well you gotta start from somewhere... But trying to petition an apology is like asking to someone wipe your ass just because you'r too lazy to do it yourself. You really think online petitions are going to make a dent in Funcom's activity? Get real. I admit I thought AoC was going to be the next best game. Didn't take that long for me to realize most things they promised were bulls*it. But hey, after Vanguard or Tabula Rasa it didn' t feel that bad anymore. And I'm not sure if Warhammer Online is everything they promised either.
As long as there's no real legal actions taken against Funcom and other gaming companies, and showing that us gamers are seriously tired with getting screwed 10 - 0 while the companies walk away with our money - there's not much to do than rant on various forums or do this petition thingy, which could be taken as serious as boy scout hobbies or building skyscrapers from LEGOs.
As long as you install the game and click on the "accept" part of the End User Access License Agreement, they can do whatever they want with the game. All you can do is enjoy the ride and watch how the game goes back and forth between steaming pile sh*t and a shining diamond.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not against petitions or devoted my life to cover Funcom's ass like we have seen in some Dorkfall cases. I'm just saying that going against big companies with petitions and stuff like that is like going to war, armed with toothpicks. With current type of marketing, companies are able AND allowed to say almost anything and sell all kinds of beta releases half done junk as a "full game".
To put a stop for that, it would require a huge movement of gamers who would somehow market against the product and tell us consumers that "My friend, your are getting screwed now big time!". And I'm not sure if that's actually allowed.
I know there is always the game reviews that give you some sort of idea from the game, but if I'm correct, in some cases those reviews can also be controlled with enough money.
I couldn't care less if Funcom would make a public apology, understanding what they actually did and why some gamers are mad to the company. I feel very stupid for buying their game and hearing a Funcom's apology or the company admitting, that they cheated our money wont change it. I already know I got screwed.
50 Euros is not that big amount, but for every cheated customer it builds up into very juicy amount of money. It's a shame those *ssholes can't be forced to pay us back.
There is definitely a neat loophole here, which can be freely used by gaming companies.
Appologies dont mean squat.Did any rational person care when Brad went into his "appoligies" ?
You should be asking that they resign.AND that they leave the industry for good.Theyve proved they cant make a successful game, how many times do you want them to prove the same thing ?
There IS someone out there who can,but til the road is clear and the oppurtunity is open to them,it wont happen.
Basically, if you are unhappy with funcom, what's the harm in signing this petition? What would be wrong with Funcom issuing a formal apology? It takes a few seconds to sign this petition and if enough people hit it, maybe we could get something started.

How about just saying your peace and moving on..Maybe its the gamers who have come to this Forum over and over and that have bashed the company, its employees and its fans who need to make an apology.
Its funny all of a sudden Funcom is coming around big time on content, fixing things, adding new content and all the negative posts have turned around into positive comments and into people that quit who said they will never come back are all coming back.
Like someone else mentioned, an online petition is useless. The probability of even a single FC employee coming across it is slim to none, and even if it was noticed by the entire FC staff they could give jack squat. It doesn't matter if it is the most dishonest or enlighted companies, they'll all see it the same way. For them to do something like this would be the same as saying, "We give up on this game". The second they talk about their game in a negative view it is just going to go downhill from there. Even if they wanted to go the more honest route (which I highly doubt from this company) they've condemned themselves to continuing to lie.
Legal action is probably the only way to get through with these people. That is, if anyone really cared that much. It is, afterall, a video game, and this certainly isn't the first time someone focused on their own gain rather then the product, including in MMOs (Vanguard, TR, Dark & Light being more current examples, hell AO was an almost exact mirror of the situation now). If you honestly need a formal apology over something like this then you haven't been out in the RL enough to get swindled more then once. It happens. In fact, I could care less if I got an apology because I don't need them telling me they screwed up. I know they did. And although I know I wouldn't take the time to go for legal action against this game, I would hope somebody would just to make an example out of them.
As long as we have a choice between other games, it doesn't matter much to me. But when it gets to the point where we have no options between other games, then I think it's actually time somebody should go against these bimbos, hell, just for the principle of the thing. '08 was simply a mediocre year for MMOs, and shows a poor future for what we can expect ahead from companies. I think more companies are taking FCs marketting ploys as examples of success and we'll be seeing more of these types in the future.

good luck at taking legal action against a company that has more money than you and I could make in a lifetime.
You do not need to sign petitions and ask for pointless apologies in order to make your point. There is only one way to effect any real change in this industry and that is by withholding what the company you are upset with most desires... your money.
If you are upset about the state of the game at launch and feel they lied to you, stop playing. It's that simple. If enough people feel the same way they will quit paying for the game as well. Usually though enough will still subscribe to keep the game afloat, at least for a little while. Really though, does this matter? If you are no longer paying for the game then it no longer affects you.
Simple, quick, and efficient protest... /cancel
It is how I have been protesting my displeasure with the gaming industry for years. They act stupid and make idiotic changes/decisions regarding the game then they get no more money from me. Do others continue to pay them? Of course they do, but I don't. I'm not out to change the face of the gaming industry, I'm just out to see that it doesn't change me.
I'm also not one of those people (and I know many) who HAVE to play an online game and will continue to subscribe to one they no longer enjoy just because there is "nothing better". If there is "nothing better" stop playing, pretty simple isn't it?
Bottom line is this, protest the only way that makes a real difference... with your wallet.
Apologizing would be the same as admitting guilt and maybe used against them later. No way thier lawers are going to approve an apology. Promising to perform by a certain time and not doing it is breach of contract also some fancy lawering could turn it into fraud or misrepresentation beyond reasonable expectation.
So........ It all boils down to DX10 ey... Since the pyramids have been redone OVER 1mnd ago...
EDIT:
- The Pyramids is a 33-37 ins. And not a lvl 80 raid ins. And have been abel to quest there, go in there etc always, but they have redone it a couple of times, to make it more fun, better etc

I'm sorry...it may just be me, but why would you seriously demand an apology over a GAME! I just don't think games are THAT important.

Games not important? blasphemer!
But I suppose big screen TV's and having cable for all the sports channels, and getting that new wax job for your car ARE important, right? Bah!
This is all your fault you fools!!!!!! No excuses needed, just learn.
When I read the title of this thread I thought it was SWG thread.
-Currently looking forward to FFXIV
-Currently playing EvE and Global Agenda
Did anyone catch the irony in this?

Petition for broken quests. Need to go ahead and start your petition demanding this for pretty much every single MMORPG that's ever come out.
And then another apology for DX10 not being in. I still wouldn't use it.
