My first journey in Atlantica Online

I found Atlantica online while looking for a new mmorpg I could play. I was bored of the usual Mmorpgs and I wanted something fresh and original. That's when I Ran into Atlantica online. At first I was very skeptical, The site looked okay, nothing special to be honest, I decided to give it a try. The registration went smoothly, lots of download links for the client thanks to which I was able to launch the game within an hour. Then created my character (HellRaiserr), I was a little disappointed at the lack of customization. But then, of course, that's not the most important feature in a game. I went through the tutorial fairly quickly, learning about managing my mercenaries and soo on. Then I went out into the real world. I was amazed that The map in-game was the actual map of the world ( I rarely read about games before playing)img380.imageshack.us/my.php

My first mistake was, I thought AO was about grinding. I actually went out and fought monsters for about 2 hours, leveling very slowly  . I was impressed by the combat system, It was simple, yet once I advanced a little into the game I realized that strategy was very important , recruiting specific mercenaries, creating good formations and so on. Pvp was very nicely done, once I hit level 20 I tried it out ( i lost ) I realized that spamming my spells and attacks wasn't enough, I actually had to think who to attack. As I was saying, leveling in AO can be fast if you do quests. And of course AO has the best feature I have ever seen in an MMO, Auto-move, Basically if you embark on quest and you have to kill a specific monster or find and NPC , you click that little button and go find a snack in your kitchen, while the Auto-move function does the walking for you. Saves a lot of time too! That's just one of the many features Atlantica Online has to offer. Some of the other features include: Guilds ability to control a town, tax it, and craft buildings for it. The in depth craftingenchanting system, Original combat, the licenses and many others.

Atlantica Online is very addicting, I dont usually stick around for long around mmorpgs, but AO has me, even now its waiting for me to alt+tab into it and continue playing, which as a matter of fact I am going to do.

Well welcome to Atlantica friend! Yeah when I tried it I thought it was gonna be brief, cause I figured it was another Korean grinder, boy was I wrong! This game really broke the mold for me and the way I see korean mmos. The most original mmo to come out of Asia in a long time.
