Downloading the game at the moment

I just checked some gameplay videos on youtube and liked what i saw.  Turn base combat might be slow but it's certainly different of real time combat of most games.  

Any tips for a total newbie ?

since you're downloading the game as of the moment, think of the class that you want your main character to be. you can go around this forum and see that there are shaman guides and stuff like that. once you start the game, you'll be asked to hire mercenaries, they are vital to your quests in atlantica. aside from the components of your party, their formation also matters.

anyway, if you have a hard time beating that hellish fairy at the forest of spirits (i am noob so i did have a hard time), you can always spam it with the scroll of vortex. put one scroll on the quickslot of each character and you're good to go.

anyway, go forum-hopping. it's a lot of help.

I second that. Jump on the forums and read others builds, and see what is to your liking. Also there is a beginner's guide on the web site.
