What are the mechanics of enchanting? Is there a certain point where enchanting becomes dangerous (you can lose the item)? I also hear about "sealed" and "unsealed" items? What do these mean? The highest I ever got was +5, and it seemed like no problem. There is a blue glow associated with +5 and above, I assume the red glow is the highest type of upgrade?

nope.. i think the highest form of upgrade is +10.. i came across to the market and i saw +10 spirit bow or armor i think.. so i assume that there is no + 11 and the highest is +10.. +10 means so much work to do.. if you want to get +10 you need patience and money!!!

Yeah, is there a safe limits for weapons and armors? Or until I posses enchanted stones and armors, I'll be able to upgrade it successfully?

Theres two ways of enchanting in this game the safe way and the not so safe way.



The safe way-

requires the item you want to enchant X2 and enchant stones. the number of enchant stones depends on the amount of + you're going for, getting to a +3 will require 3 stones and so on. now when i say you need "item you want to enchant X2" that means if you want to make a +4 spirit axe,  you are going to need 2, +3 spirit axes and 3 weapon enchant stones.  So a +4 weapon does not consist of 4 weapons, it consists of 16 weapons, which makes getting to +10 very hard. a +10 spirit axe is 1024 +0 spirit axes. but this has no chance to fail.



The not so safe way-

this way requires enhance stones, not enchant stones. you then have to go to Vulcanas in Rome. If you want to make an item +1 it will take 1 enhance stone,  to go from +0 to +2 it will take you 1 to go from +0 to +1 and 2 more to go from +1 to +2 and so on. This however has a chance to fail and a chance to destroy the item all together. not to mention enhance stones cost more then enchant stones.



Enchanting to +7 will make the item "unsealed" this means that the item can still be traded, however once one of your mercs equips the item it will become sealed to you. you will not be able to trade it to anyone else. unless you enchant it one more time which will unseal it again.
