Battle Position

Hi! Question for atlantica players, what is the best position during the course of a battle and how do you position your character with your mercenaries? I position 2 swords and 1 spearman up front and I placed myself which is a gun, along side with another gun on the back. Do you think it is the right position? Any suggestions would be appreciated...

I place Swordsman-Swordsman-Viking at the front. Gunner-Spearman at the middle, and Shaman-Cannoneer-Monk at the back. I I place the ones with the largest hp at front, the dps with decent health at mid, and the healers and dps with low hp at the back. Very simple formation, but rather effective at mid-levels.

For me, i have 2 spearmen placed at both ends up front with a swordsman in between.

Then i have 2 gunners behind those 2 spearmen. and i have a monk behind the swordsman.

Now 2 High shamans are placed behind those gunners with an archer in between far back.

My hero is an Archer which does concentraded damage with gunners who have a mid type of HP.

For the Shamans, they lack on HP and defense which is why they are placed far back.

For the monk, though it can be weak with its defense, i sometime replace it with a viking in the merc room which ever is needed for PvE.

So far so good with this build for me. It's working with my gameplay as well as with my party build.

With regards to your inquiry, it is an ok party build with the position you are planning as long as it coincides with your gameplay and strategy.

My current formation is this:

swordy-swordy-swordy

artilleryman-viking-gunner

archer-monk-shaman

 

But  this is not the best formation i've got.. im still experementing on it.. how to maximize their skills in a certain postion or how you can hide you character from the eagle eyes of your opponent.. i'm still losing in the free league.. so i guess my formation sucks... i consider one of your formation maybe it will work for me..
