Oops i did it again
Yeah thats right, I re-subscribed to WoW after a 6 months break. After playing for an hour on my hunter and doing nothing but running around shatt i thought my self "What do Xbox 360 and Michael Jackson have in common?" then i realised it was that they were both made of plastic and kids turned them on.
But seriuosly, i need a new game. First of all I'll name the games i have played previously:
WoW, SRo, LoA, DAoC, RS, Knight, MS, FlyFF, TR, RF and a loads more i cant think of.
The main things i am looking for in a mmo are:
- Large, fully explorable world.
- PvP of some form
- A decent community
- End game content
- WSAD movement
- Useable chat
- Plenty of items, armour and weapons
- The ability to make you char look different ( I hate games where every char looks the same
The things i dont want in a MMO:
- Constant Server down time
- jumpy, unsmooth gameplay
- load screens between zones
- a grindfest (like archlord or silk road)
Im not too fussed about p2p as i have played enough games to realise that good things aren't free 
I planned on playing WAR but my current system isnt good enough to run it so i just need an addictive filler game to keep going through the winter time. I have been looking into Vanguard and Ryzom.

What lvl did you get to in runescape? if you got to 110+ i would look for a new game but if not there's alot of things you can still do in that game...if you just don't wanna play it then try out sandboxes and turn-based games
i got lvl 102, got bored and when they took wildy out it sucked!

Open PVP is back just so you know, but i have no idea how it is and works since i quit, so check it out and see if it's good enough to give a second chance
If you're system is not good enough to run WAR, forget about Vanguard.
Anarchy Online. I've played most of the pay to play games listed to the left as well as several of the free ones and I believe AO is the best of the bunch. Yes the graphics are dated but hopefully the dx9 upgrade will happen soon but the gameplay is very well done. Great class/skill system and nothing can touch the sheer amount of item slots that this one has.
There is a fairly steep learning curve to this game which is one of the main reason it appeals to me. That also keeps a fair amount of the WoW kiddies out so the community is fairly mature. With only 2 US servers it's fairly concentrated as well.
The nice thing is you can start with a free account and then move into a paid account after you've tried it out a bit. You are missing tons with the free or 'froob' account though.
It also has done pvp right as far as I'm concerned. Battlestations where you can earn points for nice items with team based pvp and then tower wars where you have a reason to own real estate in the game.

Regarding Anarchy, im from UK so will i be able to play it? or is it US cards only?
