All whining summed up: " Why can't it be WOW?"

Not sure why WoW is so hated.  Blizzard did so many right things with that game.  They were also very adaptable in changing and rebalancing things.  They also were huge thieves stealing and idea that they thought was useful.  That made one of the best interfaces in MMOs.

WoW is hated because it's popular and played by millions...

People here don't seem to want to be part of something big, they want to be special.....

Warhammer ain't WoW, don't worry, it's more like DAOC2 painted with warhammer IP on it.... sigh when will people learn that simple truth? I'm not saying it's bad because of it either btw.

I try to do pq's while being queued for a scenario, usually get stuck on the 1st part as there is no one else around, which make it an awful boring grind.
Also I have been wandering about RvR areas but there is hardly anyone there either.
No clue where people are hanging out atm to be honest. Or are they all locked up in scenarios ?
    So please enlighten me :).

Seems nobody is up to the challenge? So many people post here saying "no no, you're playing the game wrong" but ask them to put their money wher their mouth is, and they disappear.

Truth is, the only "right" way to play this game is to roll on a High/High population server, or reroll to one if you are trying to play elsewhere. Remember folks, the heavy dependency on population for much of WAR's gameplay is the players' fault, so stop breaking this game and jump on the bandwagon to the high pop servers! What were you assholes thinking anyways, that you'd be able to enjoy a game without queues? Or maybe you expected low pop servers to actually grow? Stupid noobs! ;)

I just don't get it.  This forum is for discussing the game, the good and the bad.  So, when someone comes on and is all on WAR's balls about how great a game it is and much they love it, people don't hulk out in nerd rage.  Yet, one someone just as bias comes on bashing the game, some of you feel the need to rip that person a new one.  Hypocrisy much?  Neither perspectives offer constructive feedback because they are so bias, yet only one receives large amounts of negative feedback.   That's just my take on  things.  WAR wasn't my game, but I'm glad people are enjoying it.  Some of you just need to come to terms with the fact that you're going to see the really good and the really bad.
One more question that I've always wondered about in general about game forums:  why do some people feel obligated to flame/defend video games?  Has always seemed rather odd to me.  I can see discussing them, but the flame wars you find on these types of forums in general are rather sad and humorous at the same time.

Wow.  You just said everything I could possibly want to say in regards to this long and tired "debate," and the whole gaming forums "thing."

I think perhaps I, for one, need to take a break from these forums.  Thank you.

This sums up all whining. "It's not like WOW!" That's it folks. In a nutshell. These whiny nancy boys will add subterfuge and fog but we all know why they are crying rivers of tears; they want WOW.
No. No. You're not getting WOW. This is WAR...not "bored and chatting with 12 year olds."

I haven't seen anyone say they want tthe game to be more like WOW.  I've heard just the opposite, that people who have played WOW are looking for something different and so they give WAR a shot.  So I think your post if off the mark.

I have a feeling you are one of the people who see WOW in every game and every comment.   The world does not revolve around WOW.  Your post serves nothing more than to perpetuate your own angst.

Game reminds me of DAOC more than any other game.  WoW copied from DAoC (and a few others) maybe thats where people see WoW in WAR.

Guess everyones just to new to the genre to remeber the ole EQ vs DAoC days.  And the "who will be the EQ killer" obsession.

And im afraid ur wrong Terranah. The mmorpg world does revolve around WoW just like it revolved around EQ. And itll do so till another PvE grind comes out.

    History always repeats itself.
