hello all I just wanted to take the time to ask a couple questions about somethings i don't quite understand.

 

1. I read some posts on here and i think i understand the enchanting thing now. So If i want to enchant a rifle I need two rifles and then a number of weapon enchant gems? The more gems the higher the enchant?

 

2. Last night I was using an item that was allowing me to break armor and weapons into some sort of dust. What is this dust used for?

 

3. I also got a pop up last night congratulating a player on my realm for winning like 100,000 gold for betting on a gladiator match? For real? You can gamble on player matches!!??

 

4. I played until lvl 11 last night and i have 4 minions or mercs is that where i should be? When should i expect to get a 5th?

 5. Is crafting level restricted? archtype restricted (ie just a tailor or armorer can't be both?)

I have more questions but those are at the forfront of my mind while at work. Thanks to anyone who can lend some guidance

I can honestly say this is one of the best games i've played in a long time. Triple AAA titles have not hooked me as quickly as this one has. In fact the only bad thing about this game is it makes me mad that i've been paying to play products that aren't even in the same league as this. Maybe its because it has the final fantasy type combat with a strategic twist, maybe  its the polish not sure. But hats off to the developers!!! great game imo

I'll try to answer your questions.

Not exactly.  To get a sword+1, you need two sword +0 and 1 weapon enchant gem.  To get a sword +2 you need two sword +1 and 2 weapon enchant gems.  To get a sword +3 you need two sword +2 and 3 weapon enchant gems.  To get a sword +4 you need two sword +3 and 4 weapon enchant gems.  See the pattern?  See how getting a sword +4 would take sixteen +0 swords and twenty nine weapon enchant stones?  Though sometimes you get very lucky when you enchant it goes higher than it usually does.

I believe these elements are used by weapon and armor crafting.  Crafting is pretty expensive so it is probably best to only craft 1 or 2 things, and I don't craft any weapons or armor, so I am not sure.

No.  There is an arena in Rome where NPC players duel each other.  You can bet on the outcome of the NPC arena tournament.  You can also watch the matches.  It would be cooler if it was real players.

No, it is only restricted by money.  It is pretty hard to actually make money crafting since you usually end up spending a lot on the ingredients.  There are quests which will show you how crafintg works.  If you want a crafting skill, go to COMMUNITY, then ARTISIANS, then pick the skill you want.  ASk anyone with a skill of 11 or above on the list to teach you that skill.  It is free for you, and it gets them a small amount of craft xp.

3. you can bet on matches but they are level 100 NPC matches (their formation changes from arena to arena)

4. you get a new merc slot every 10 levels until a total of 9 at 50 :P so you can expect another in 9 lvls
