Palin/Pelosi Ticket

Am I the only one who thinks that becoming president is McCains last line on his Bucket List before he kicks the bucket. It seems like he can almost feel it now.

Pelosi Dosen't become the VP as President Palin would get to pick a new one.

If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude; greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

You know, all of you people who refer to him being old, frail or weak simply because he is old also insults every single senior citizen. Being old doesn't mean you are dead or weak. Your sacred Obama will age as well. Are you ready to toss him aside when that time comes? Are you ready to be tossed aside as well when you age?

Palin - Pelosi?  You can't be serious.  You might well ask for a Bush - Clinton ticket.  It just ain't happening.

Too old to be president, not too old to be respected otherwise. If Obama was over 70-years-old and running for President, then yes I'd have concerns about his age. Especially if his number 2 was someone like Palin.

McCain's healthy enough to hike the grand canyon from rim to rim.  But the riggers of doing that kind of walking in the hot desert sun is nothing compared to all the standing while talking, or sitting and listening he will be doing as president.  Ohh the daunting strain being commander and chief will be on a person that requires someone at peak physical health.

You're not viewing McCain objectively at all.

Beyond the issue of his age, which doesn't necessarily disqualify him, the man has serious health issues.  All the pancake in the world can't cover up the ravages of melanoma.

Frankly, I don't think he's being the least upfront about his health.

I'm not sure this would be an issue with Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Rudy Guilliani, or even Ron Paul, who is in fact older than McCain but looks a lot healthier than him.

CH, Jedi, Commando, Smuggler, BH, Scout, Doctor, Chef, BE...yeah, lots of SWG time invested.

I don't think either candidate is being completely honest.

Maybe we can see some P on P action.

Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!

Didn't you guys here the news months ago.  McCain disclosed his full health history, of which all the doctors who reviewed it determined him healthy.  I don't really think its fair not to vote for someone because they had cancer, while every doctor who has seen his record agrees he is healthy.

McCain's last known bout with a particularly invasive form of cancer was only five or six months ago. I don't blame people for being concerned. I had an uncle who battled with the same sort of cancer. He recovered three times. The last time it took everyone by surprise, even his doctors, and it killed him really fast.  This sort of cancer is well known for reoccuring.

McCain's age and very recent past medical history is quite enough for me to not consider him for president.  Pilots, people who work with high security clearance, school bus drivers are among some jobs that not only require medical clearance but there are medical conditions that make them ineligible for those jobs. I believe in those medical records being kept private as long as the person involved isn't hired. Not so for president and whether or not we know everything about McCain' health, what we do know is pretty bad.  People should be aware of how big the risk is that voting for McCain will net us Palin as president. The risk seems pretty significant. That would be unacceptable even for many McCain supporters.
