Let's take this to the legal conclusion.

A precedent was already set by Berry Goldwater born in the Arizona Territory, though he was not elected as president.  This provides some support should McCain win and be challenged to court.  The only item that can be disputed is not being born on US soil (though in Panama it was leased).  Everything else supports McCain.  So it goes to the court system, up to the Supreme Court.  Seeing that the Supreme Court has a majority of Conservatives, most likely will provide a favorable verdict to McCain.

    And that is why...

Conservatives' pessimism is conducive to their happiness in three ways. First, they are rarely surprised -- they are right more often than not about the course of events. Second, when they are wrong they are happy to be so. Third, because pessimistic conservatives put not their faith in princes -- government -- they accept that happiness is a function of fending for oneself. They believe that happiness is an activity -- it is inseparable from the pursuit of happiness.

It only takes a little reading to verify the truth of many of these statements.
I believe the desperation of Obama supporters is rank. They simply ignore facts and continue to praise him as if he is some saint.

I don't support either McCain or Obama because they BOTH have ties to terrorist organizations. They are both dirty. But Republicans dont seem to care about McCain's ties the US Council for World Freedom, and Democrats don't seem to care that Obama has links to a man that wanted to kill people in his own country.

When are people going to realize that both of these guys are bad news?

Which is pretty dumb if you ask me, considering that Panama is another freaking country and not a state controlled by us.

You are correct. It wasn't put into effect in the early 1900's, but it was retroactive to 1904. That law, on top of the above, is why McCain is a US Citizen.

I don't think you read it. McCain is a US citizen based upon 8 USC 1401(c), Obama is not.

Paulistas were jumping up and down and screaming that John McCain was ineligible to run for President last spring.

They were of course in error.  The "McCain wasn't born on US soil!" argument is totally bogus, based on a law passed in 1792!  Not the first time, and certainly not the last time, the Paulistas were flat out wrong about something.

Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961.  You can't even use the bogus Goldwater argument on him (Goldwater was born in Arizona when it was a territory, not a state).  He's a natural born US Citizen.  He's over 35, so constitutionally he's qualified to be the President.

Ah ok, thanks for the correction. I knew it had something to do with the early 1900's though lol.

You're one of the most rigid ideologues to be found in off topic discussion.  You just got through making personal attacks on Daily Buzz yourself.

I'll keep pointing this out as long as you post, becasue you'll never change.  You're as rigidly ideological as the most fervent Maoist.

    1) Worried that an individual such as Obama would obtain Presidential powers? Most certainly.

    2) He will never be my leader. Ever.

    3) Of course, you must bring out the racist card when there is none.

    Good grief.

The truth is utterly irrelevant to our rigid ideologue Dekron.

Keep saying that, pal.  You're only destroying your own credibilty as you do so.

Sorry, pal, but YOU are the one destroying your crediblity by making the totally false claim that Obama was not born in the United States.  He was.  In Honolulu.  Capital city of the state of Hawaii.  You know.  In the United States. Of America.  USA! USA!

Heck, he's got a perfectly valid copy of a birth certificate to prove it.  The original is on file in Honolulu.  With a raised seal and everything!  Some guys at factcheck.org have seen it!  It looked perfectly kosher to them!

Even if both his parents were not US citizens (his mother was born in Kansas, you know) by virtue of his birth in Honolulu he's a US citizen.

Keep claiming otherwise and confirming what everyone suspects about you.

It matters not if one holds the power. That does not make him a leader. You simply follow that flawed logic because you  are an indoctrinated Obamite. He will never be my leader, he will never be the leader of the United States. He will merely be a temporary plague.

    Let me get this straight.

By mentioning Palin's name (albeit in mocking form) Trigger is a sexist?  The mocking was on her name, not anything else about her!

I mean, really.  He didn't even allude to her sex.  He just mentioned her name!

She's on the ticket, you know.  You can't claim Trigger's a sexist because he mentioned that she's McCain's side kick.  Because Joe Biden is Obama's side kick.  It's what a veep IS.  A side kick!  There's nothing terribly derogatory about that.

The document you refer to is a short-form birth certificate. It is simply a quick copy. No one has seen, nor can find, the original long-form, "official" birth certificate.

You have nothing to prove otherwise.

I never hid my hatred and disdain for Obama. He is the epitome of everything the US does not stand for. Your ideal of a "leader" is seriously misconstrued. I am not frustrated, but feel sorry for you since you lack any free will of your own.

You can repeat it as many times as you wish, but Obama will never be my leader. It's very sad you do not understand why.

And when a person makes an attack against Obama or is a McCain supporter, that person is considered a racist.  So that is why I make that statement.

Attack Obama, or vote for McCain: Thou art a Racist.

Attack Palin, or vote for Obama: Thou art a Sexist.

I know, rather pathetic because not everyone is a racist or a sexist, but I grow tired of reading of racist remarks here.

Thank you for playing.  You're now using hypertechnicality that no one but you and your fellow Obama haters will buy into.

Your crediblity is still zero.  By your own hand.

BTW, a "short form" birth certificate was all I needed to take the oath of office as a commisioned officer in the US Army, get a security clearance, and obtain a passport.
