I only noticed things like this, very rarely, when the real reason was my level and gear difference. I would get into a scenario on tier 1, at rank 4, and try to attack a rank 11 geared to the hilt, who also had a few healers sitting behind him healing him like mad.
Only way to win that fight was to separate the healers and take them down first. But only our ranged could really do that. This game is about strategic and tactical fighting not zerg fighting like in WoW. Don't blame the game due to being Wow-etized for the last 4 years.
OK, let me ask this. Is it normal in a game to have three players attacking one player and have zero damage to the one player? That is what happened.
The last time i saw a game like this was Diablo 2.
Not taking damage for how long? Every class I've played so far, all three of them have some sort of damage immunity ability. Parry all attackes for 10 seconds, block all attacks, absorb 200 damage, etc. Maybe this is what you've seen. Or maybe some badass healing being done.
No, that is not normal, he should at least go down a bit. Hacks show up in any game, report the guy to mythic so they can check him out. Cheaters should be banned but you never know, can be a bugg of some kind also. If he get reported Mythic can keep an eye on him and ban his @ss if hes a cheater.
Reminds me of those lame jackasses in game in scenarios using speed hacks, quite a few people have seen that, many of my guild mates saw a couple of guys using them, there isnt a supersonic speed available to run half the scenario map in less the 2 seconds. its crazy but there will be people using hacks, dunno why since they bought the game and played it, eventually may get banned for it, what a waste of money.

They get a kick out of cheating.
Usually they get banned quick, Mythic or any other company for that matter, have litle love for cheaters.
was the dude a destruction ? cause if he was, then that would explain it,. if you got enough desciples of khaines putting up their retroactive hp buffers , that do stack btw that last from 15 to 10 secounds, im sorry but not amount of damage int he world will make a dent, you would of had to go after the healers themself to keep them from doing that .
In this game you can't really notice heals being casted on a player. You get purple bottles thrown on a player as heals for just about every heal you throw on that player. So with enough Zealots for instance, the health wouldn't move. Our Heal over time is strong. Healers were probably on him
Did he have a green glowing ring around him and was he a Black Orc? I see this quite often. I assume, because I've yet to play a Black Orc, that it is an absorb shield. They seem to last for quite a bit before damage begins to get through.
Also dont discount heal potions that heal for 2400 hundred over a 10 (or more) seconds so if I pop one of those you wont even see my bar move, or if i'm being chain healed by multiple healers (Sham and Khaine) you wont see much happening. At that point its time to change your target. Also if you were fighting a Black Orc or tank, I know around level 28 they have about 7000 hp so you wont see much of a dent (esp with potions or healers) unless you are laying down some heavy hits...

as an IB my morale shield absorbs 2400 damage over 20 seconds...healers use them constantly
this is my guess to what happened but no real idea...

I hope you all are incorrect because if you are correct then I will be gone in 30 days. This is not fun. The Devs that allowed this to happen should go to work at SubWay and not come back.
Wait.. you quiting because you all chose to ATTACK the tank with the heavy armor and the Shield.. that had several healers behind him.. and are upset that he wasn't getting hurt.

And yes.. that was probably me. I have been in situations where I was not taking damage at all for 10 seconds..
I have held 5-6 guys back with only 5 % health cause I popped.
Moral 2 Ability: Shield wall (blocks all attacks for 10 seconds)
pop Stuburn as Stone. (resitance to corperal damage)
and then I would pop HOLD THE LINE with increases my dodge and inturupt by 45%
so yea.. nothing touches me.. my healer was able to rez.. run back and top me off..

There were hacks in daoc all through it so it wouldnt surpise me, from necros summing there pets while they were stuck inside trees so they couldnt be hit but could kill people, to map hacks in emain and NF, and even lag casting so they could los cast and hit u from a place where u couldnt hit them back. Mythic always banned these people and put on a good act, but unless u really did soemthing obvious to get caught you got away with it.

Totally different things.
If they were 20+ , there is a horse bug, that allows you too come in the scenarios w/ mount speed.
Report them either way.
On a side note to the OP. If you did witness a hack why are you over here crying about it? Why wouldn't you report it to a GM in the game and get some results?
I've been playing since release and I witnessed a hack myself. I was running mourkain temple as a black orc and saw a swordmaster using some sort of movement hack. He was zipping all over the screen while the rest of the players all moved at the same typical rate. I finished the scenario, sent in a petition, within 5 minutes I was talking to a GM and he looked into it.
"ZOMG I'm gunna quit cause peeps got the hax, durrrr stupid game" is not the right way to go about things. If you like the game then use the proper channels and make a difference.

Let me get this straight....
If people have hacked the game and are cheating, you'll stick around. A game riddled with cheaters is OK.
If its just because you suck, or the guy you were fighting is pimp, you're out of here. I'm sure you can guess where I'm going with this....
But before I tell you to QQ and say buh-bye let me throw this on the table. You'll be "gone in 30 days" huh? So that makes this what, your FIRST DAY?
I for one don't believe that you know enough about the game in your FIRST DAY to determine whether or not someone is cheating. You're a newb. Go grind some PQs, get some half decent gear, and learn to use your scissors on paper. Trying to cut up stones will just dull your blades.
Oh right... I almost forgot...

my bright wizard has a 10 sec damange absorb buff, you could have 5 people hacking away at me and for 10 sec it wouldnt put a dent in me.
Or it could have been a Black Orc, not sure if thier still broke, they had a self heal that was bugged
Of course if the OP had made a detailed post and let us know more info maybe we would not be guessing...
